Eduardo possesses a wealth of senior industry experience
acquired over a long and successful career in aviation. More
recently he was Legal Vice President of Avianca. Prior to that,
he was TACA International Airlines General Counsel. He holds
Law Degrees from Spain and Puerto Rico, plus a Masters
Degree in Law from McGills Institute of Air and Space Law.

Pedro Heilbron is CEO of Copa
Holdings and of Copa Airlines, which
ofers service to 59 destinations in 28
countries in North, Central and South
America and the Caribbean from its
hub at Tocumen International Airport
in Panama City, Panama. Heilbron
joined Copa Airlines in 1988. Under his
leadership, Copa established the Hub of the Americas, one
of the most successful and efcient hubs in Latin America.
Heilbron also spearheaded Copas partnership and strategic
alliance with Continental Airlines in 1998. Heilbron is past
president of the Latin American Airline Association (ALTA)
and a member of the Board of Governors of the International
Air Transport Association (IATA).

Jose Carlos Barrero, Technical Advisor, ALTA
Jose Carlos Barrero received his Masters degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from the National
University of Crdoba, Argentina in 1975. Since July 2008, he has held the position of Technical Advisor
at ALTA. He is also an active member and co-founder of ALTAs Technical Committee and has held the
position of vice president of the committee on three occasions. He has participated in various training
courses, seminars and international conferences related to aviation.
Jonathan Berger, Vice President, ICF International
Jonathan Berger, Vice President, leads ICF Internationals global MRO advisory practice and brings over
20 years of aviation industry experience to his client engagements. Prior to joining ICF International, Mr.
Berger spent 14 years working in Delta Air Lines Engineering & Maintenance Division having held various
leadership positions in Operations, Engineering, Strategic Planning, and Quality. During his last assignment,
Mr. Berger was based in Paris, France as the General Manager Europe, Africa & Middle East for Delta
TechOps where he was responsible for developing and executing an MRO sales & marketing strategy. Mr.
Berger is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Russell Bonnell, President Component Repair Group, GA Telesis
Russell Bonnell is the President of GA Telesis MRO Component Business Units. He has been with GA Telesis
for ten and a half years. Prior to his current position Mr. Bonnell served as the Senior Vice President Global
Sales at GA Telesis, LLC and has 29 years of experience within the commercial aerospace after-market
industry. Mr. Bonnell holds a Bachelors of Business Administration for Management Information Systems
from Florida International University.
Paul is currently responsible for PurePower engine marketing & business development. He has 20
years of aviation experience across many technical and commercial roles. Prior positions include engine
performance and operability, advanced product development, and strategic planning. Paul has worked
on numerous P&W commercial and military programs, as well as the Engine Alliance which developed the
GP7000 for the A380.

Luiz Gustavo Da Silva, Executive Director, LATAM MRO
Luiz Gustavo Silva is the Executive Director of LATAM MRO, LATAMs Business Unit for Maintenance, Repair
& Overhaul. TAM MRO, an FAA and EASA Approved Repair Station, is located in Brazil and LAN MRO is
located in Chile, both provide services of airframe heavy maintenance and components for LATAMs eet
as well as for third party operators. Luiz has over 15 years of experience in Change Management and
Business Turn-Around in a variety of industries. Luiz has a Master Degree in Supply Chain Management
from US Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from Brazilian
Air Force Engineering Institute.
John R. Devine, International Industry Representative, TSA
Mr. Devine has over thirty years of aviation security experience encompassing regulatory, enforcement
and leadership roles within the Federal Aviation Administration and TSAs International Ofce of Global
Strategies. He has served in his current position as an International Industry Representative at the Miami
Regional Operations Center since June 2003. Mr. Devine uses his vast experience in aviation security
procedures, policies, and programs to manage a TSA aviation program consisting of twenty-six foreign
passenger air carriers as well as ten foreign all cargo carriers conducting operations from Central & South
America and the Caribbean Islands.
Kevin J. Duggan, Principal, Duggan Associates
As the Founder of the Institute for Operational Excellence, the leading educational center on Operational
Excellence, and Duggan Associates, an international training and advisory rm, Kevin has assisted many
major corporations worldwide, including Sikorsky, Pratt & Whitney, Singapore Airlines, Wood Group
Turbopower, Bombardier, and Messier Dowty. Kevin is a frequent keynote speaker, master of ceremonies,
and panelist at international conferences, has appeared on CNN and the Fox Business Network, and has
been published in Aviation Weeks Overhaul & Maintenance, MRO Management, Aviation Today, and
Aerospace Manufacturing and Design on the application of lean in aviation MRO.
Jerry Fagerhaug, Solutions Director, Flight Efciency Services, GE Aviation
Jerry Fagerhaug serves as Senior Solutions Director - Americas for GE Aviation Flight Efciency Services.
Fagerhaug oversees regional airline customer engagements, including efciency solutions discovery using
data analytics with airline ight operations, nance, maintenance, operations control, airports and ATC.
Previously, Fagerhaug served as vice president customer operations at Naverus, a performance based
navigation company. Prior to joining Naverus, Fagerhaug served as customer account leader for Honeywell
Air Transport Systems. Before that, he was senior manager, ATC and airport operations for Northwest
Airlines. Fagerhaug also served as vice chairman, regional coordinating group, IATA Asia Pacic.
Daniel D. Castro began his duties as a FAA Senior Representative in October 2009 in the United States
Embassy in Panama City, Panama. He serves as the primary FAA point of contact for foreign civil aviation
authorities, industry, and the US Ambassadors for regions of Central America, Mexico, Colombia and the
Dominican Republic. He will discharge the mission of the FAA working under the direction of the Western
Hemisphere Director for International Aviation and US Ambassadors to encourage and foster the safe and
efcient development of civil aviation abroad.

Gabriel Gonzalez, CEO, COOPESA
Gabriel Gonzalez is a Chemical Engineer by training, graduating from the University of Costa Rica in
1968. He has since attended numerous seminars and training in nance, marketing, sales, production and
logistics. After working as a Production/Maintenance/Project engineer for 15 years, he held managing
director positions with companies like 3M, Parker Pen, Amaco Group, Aliaxis/Durman Group and Coopesa
in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. He is currently CEO of COOPESA, a
workers cooperative in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Ronald Green, Customer Business Manager, Honeywell Aerospace
Ronald Green joined Honeywell in 2010 as a Customer Business Manager supporting customers primarily
in Latin America. Prior to his joining Honeywell Ron held multiple positions in Copa Airlines including
Strategic Planning Manager, Director of Procurement and Director of Contracts. Ron lives in Panama with
his wife and 3 kids.
Capt. Augusto Herrera, Safety & Operations Advisor, ALTA
Augusto Herrera Lizcano, ALTAs operations and Safety advisor since 2007, also Aviancas commercial pilot
since 1985, acting as captain on an Airbus 330 eet, additionally working at the companys safety ofce as
manager of human performance analysis in operational events. Specialist in CRM and HHFF, he has worked
looking for tools to manage fatigue-related efects supporting the implementation of FRMS in the region,
in addition to this as part of RASG- PA PA-RAST look for and implement initiatives to control events as:
controlled ight into terrain, loss of control in ight, runway incursions or excursions, unstable approaches
and near midair collisions among others.
Valter Fernandez, Operations Executive Vice President, TAP M&E Brazil
Valter Fernandes is the Operations Executive Vice President at TAP Maintenance and Engineering Brazil. He
received his Mechanical Engineering degree from Instituto Superior Tcnico and his Aeronautics Master of
Science from Universidade Nova. He joined TAP Portugal in 2001 as a Project Manager and after 3 years he
was promoted to Aircraft Base Maintenance General Manager at TAP M&E Portugal. In 2009 he took on the
challenge of TAP M&E Brazil. He is now entering his 4th year in this role. During this period, TAP M&E Brazil
doubled its revenue and created a good base load of new customers.

Donald Lohin, Chairman, President & CEO, Axiam
Mr. Lohin has served as Chairman, President and CEO of Axiam, Inc. since 2000 for this turbine engine core
assembly processes company. Axiams products consist of proprietary software, assembly procedures,
tooling and high-accuracy measurement gauges that bring improved engine performance and cost
savings for both Operators and Engine Shops. Mr. Lohin brings broad experience in general management,
sales and marketing, and nance/operations with Mead Corp., Xerox Corp., General Electric Company and
Cullinet Software. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia and a B.S.E.E. from Lehigh University.
MaggieMais aCertifiedHumanFactors Professional (CHFP) whospecializes inmaintenancehumanfactors. Maggiereceived
her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering/Human Factors Engineering in 2005 fromState University of NewYork at Buffalo. Maggie
has over 10years of experienceinconductingappliedhumanfactors researchtoimproveaviationsafety throughdeveloping
various safetyprograms (e.g., error investigation, training, self-reporting, andobservationof normal operations).Shehas worked
closely withairlines, manufacturers, maintenance organizations, groundservice providers, andregulatory agencies inbothUS
andChina. MaggiejoinedtheBoeingCompanyinJanuary2012. Her primaryresponsibilitiesincludeprovidingimplementation
support tocustomer airlinesandother maintenanceorganizationsonawidearrayof safetyprocesses/programs.
Donald Maxwell, Americas Procurement Lead, Honeywell Aerospace Trading
Donald Maxwell is Americas procurement lead for Honeywell Aerospace Trading (HAT), a position he took
up in March of 2014. Before his position at HAT, Donald spent seven years as vice president of sales at
Universial Asset Management. Donald graduated from Arkansas State University with a BASc in Business,
Management, Marketing and Related Support Services.
Abdol Moabery, President & CEO, GA Telesis
Abdol Moabery is the founder and serves as the President and Chief Executive Ofcer of GA Telesis,
LLC, now an afliate of Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Century Tokyo Leasing. Since its inception,
Mr. Moabery has led the company to major growth milestones becoming a pioneer in solutions-based
development for airlines, MROs and OEMs. GA Telesis global operations span the globe covering the
areas of aircraft and leasing, with an asset portfolio valued over $1 billion. Previously, Mr. Moabery served
as Executive Vice President of Aviation Systems International, Inc., and as Director of Marketing and Sales
at C-S Aviation Services, Inc. Mr. Moabery is also a member of the ISTAT Appraisers Board of Governors.
Moore Ibekwe currently serves as an Airline Economic Analyst for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. His primary role
involves analyzing airline operating costs associated with Boeing and competitive products.He joined The Boeing
Company in 2005 as a Structural Analysis Engineer on the 777 Program. While on the 777 program, Ibekwe
supported engineering eforts for the cargo support structures on the 777 Freighter and was the Lead Engineer
for the 777 Empennage Structures Group. His role involved ensuring eet safety and reducing maintenance cost.
Mr. Ibekwe has a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and
an MBA from the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington.
Maggie Ma, Maintenance Human Factors, Commerical Aviation Services, Boeing
Moore Ibekwe Jr, Regional Director, Airline Economic Analysis, Boeing Commercial Airplanes
Mohan Perumal, Senior Director Aviation Practice, Ramco Systems Corporation
Mohan is an Electrical Engineering graduate. He has been working in the Aviation Software and related
functions for the last 13 years. He has hands-on experience in the engineering, development, testing, &
implementing enterprise level aviation software for the Maintenance, Engineering & MRO lines of business.
He has been consulting and working with partners and customers in the aviation industry since 2002
and has done several software applications integration. He currently holds the position of Senior Director
Aviation Practices and in this position he is responsible for project delivery, Customer Support and
Professional Services for the aviation business functions of Ramco Systems in the Americas.
Jose Luis Quiros Cuevas, Technical Director, Iberia Maintenance
Jos Luis Quirs Cuevas holds an M.A in Aeronautical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He
moved into aeronautical engineering as senior Aircraft Systems Engineer in 1988. At IBERIA he held positions such
as Engineering Director, Powerplant Overhaul Shop Director and Vice President Maintenance Operations. Between
2008 and 2009 Jos Luis was appointed Chief Operating Ofcer at Vueling and Accountable Manager, and became
Commercial and Business Development Senior Vice President in 2009. Recently, Jose Luis was appointed Technical
Executive Vice President. He is also an Associated Professor for Aerospace Materials at the School of Aeronautical
Engineeringinthe MadridPolytechnic University.
