The Domain of this Project is banking. Providing Account Opening, Servicing and other
attractive features and protective systems (Citi pays) for the Customers are the main features.
The application is developed in Mainframe..
The bank offers various products like: Checking, Saving, Certificate of Deposit and Money
Market Account, Control and Client Accounts for both General Public(Consumer) as well as
Commercial (Business Customers) and services like: Statements, Cheque books, debit cards,
ATM Cards ordering facility also to the both Consumer and Commercial customers during
account opening process.

servicing mode which can be done either by using CIN number or Account Number.

Description:
The Symphony project is a multiyear and multi generational project to provide customer service
and loan organization functionality through different channels. Symphony is the new system
being developed to replace its existing system (Maestro) in a systematic manner using Agile
methodology. The application deals with loan processing and servicing of new\present\former
customers. It interfaces to the Internet, branch network systems, Credit bureau and Rules.

i. Comparison with Maestro: Essentially its a task of testing the symphony application
comparing with the maestro. It has various functionality like Application Management,
Account Management, Collection Management and Payment Management etc.,
Generation of Documents.
ii. Account Management: Testing on Status of the Account, dates on last payments, current
dues, etc.,
iii. Payment Management: Testing on various types of payments through which customer
can pay his payments.
iv. Collection Management: Testing on the various accounts the one who have not done
their payments from more than a month.
v. Teller Management: Balancing of the Cash Drawers of the user based on the payments
done to customers and payments collected from the customer.

Roles & Responsibilities(overall):
At the beginning of a particular sprint, Product Owner, Scrum Master will discuss
with offshore Delivery head, Project Manager to let Offshore know regarding new
enhancements/ updates that are signed up for that particular sprint.
Project Manager will assign that particular project to a module lead/ Team Lead.
Entire team who will be in that project have to undergo Walkthroughs, daily scrum
calls with scrum master and developers in order to know that all are in compliance.
Understanding Use Cases [UC] and User Stories [US] to create High Level Test Plan.
Understanding Client (Banking Domain) perspective and testing with different testing
techniques.
Allocating task to resources after clear understanding of the module, Creation of Test
Instructions Sheet (LLTP) for Manual test execution from the HLTP(includes
Negative test cases) and uploading the test scripts in Quality Center.
Conducting Sanity testing on the load environment before performance test begins.
