Personal Leadership Analysis

What is leadership to me personally ?

According to my thinking A leader is someone who take a group of people
to a place where they dont think they can go.
According to me A leader is always have a vision and honest with his
people. A leader always work to be a motivator and emphasize on new
ideas. A leader is someone who gives full intention to his people.
A leader in any project will always dictate his people to improve the
work rather than maintain the same standards. A leader will always
encourage coordination rather than making his followers compete with one
another. A good leader will train and coach his followers to give them the
basic idea of the specific task which has been assigned to them rather than
directing and supervising them.
A leader will always learn from problems when it exist, and they will
treat it as an opportunity rather than minimizing it or covering it up.
As i mention about vision of a leader in above paragraph, Bill Hybels
says that
Your culture will only ever be as Healthy as your Senior Leader wants it to
be
I think a man working on delayed outcomes constitutionally is a true leader
because if you working on infrastructure of a country and your system is
not good enough to get the justice then I think there is need to do
anything else. They should work on the system of the country. A leader
should give the vision to their people so they can evaluate what they are
doing and what they have to. He should develop a where people get justice,
where law and order situation is good and people can do their work in safe and
sound environment.
What is my Passion and legacy I would like to leave from my 4
years in university:
My passion is become to be a good Engineer and I want to do something
different in my field but the question is that why ? . How I recognized my
passion ?
This word passion was unknown for me 3 years ago. When I got
admission in this university I was here for nothing, means my purpose was
just to enjoy my life and I did. Attending classes in morning and then
spending time with friends was all of my activity for the whole day. Then
after the exams of my first semester when the result was announced, I
failed my four major subjects of engineering. At the time it didnt
disappoint me but when my parents were informed about my result they got
worried. Only sentence my father had with me was you really disappointed
me my son. My mother said I never thought you are such a careless
person, Im hurt. I was noticing a tear in her eyes and that day I realized
that my existence should have some worth, if someone else can do it why
cant I. That day I decided to work hard, be a good engineer and I called it
my passion. I decided to meet my teachers, I met Dr. Sagheer and my Dean,
and they were really motivation personalities. I lead and motivate myself at
every point to get the best results. I learned that if youve really decided to
do something you really can do it.
Today!! I have nothing to regret about because I used it as a positive
energy and now my CGPA is 2.94 and inshaAllah by the end of the degree
itll be more than 3.
In my opinion leaders always learn from their mistakes and this is what I
did. As the leaders are leading a group of people they should have the
decision making power. I think if you have courage, motivation, vision and
honesty with your work then nothing is impossible!
The legacy I want to leave behind from the 4 years is that I want to develop
technical skills. I want to improve my programming because its very
important for my future. I learned many things from my university life like
time management, self evaluation and also learn how I can adjust, motivate
and lead myself in every situation. You always have to think about your
objectives. You have to set a goal and you should put a full effort to
achieve your objectives. I think you should also participate in other activities
with your studies that will help you to improve your interpersonal skills,
team management skills. I learned many things as a group leader in a
semester project.
Formulate a project to help me to achieve my goals and
objectives:
After completion of my bachelor degree my objective is to get admission in
foreign universities for Masters on scholarship and for this I start to get
the information about scholarship criteria of different engineering
universities. Students may apply in most institutes who have CGPA above 3
and on the basis of the interview. Im trying that my CGPA cross 3 so at
least I can apply there for best education and my last two semesters are
very important especially my final year project. I totally concentrate on my
elective courses and final year project so I will be strong candidate for
scholarship. After Masters I will came back and apply for a job here.
This is my objective for next 5 years and Im sure I will achieve my
objectives because Im dedicated with my work.
