Pro Games Pack Instructions

Overview & Equipment
The Darts Practce Rings are a revolutonary aiming device for darts. We have all
experienced the frustraton of scoring 100 and then 21 - playing well for a day and
struggling for a week.

The Darts Practce Rings are proven to help with consistency, aiming and grouping.
This is not a miracle cure and you will not be successful overnight - as with any sport
you have to put a bit of work into it.
Playing with the Darts Practce Rings will help darts players at all levels to improve
their game. Its also a fun way to learn!
In the Pro Games Pack you will fnd 10 Progress Charts - used to measure a players
improvement and progress, 4 sets of diferent sized rings, 1 Target Caddy and
1 Instructonal DVD.

1) The Pro Ring - 10mm
2) The Semi-Pro Ring - 15mm
3) Advanced Ring - 30mm
4) Improved Ring - 45mm
5) Beginner Ring - 60mm
Pro Games Play
A player chooses a ring and pins it over a target area of the
dartboard. Aiming and throwing darts through the ring will
improve overall sightng and grouping of the darts.

A novice player may start with the Beginners Ring (number
5) and will progress down through the ring sizes, untl
reaching the Pro Ring (number 1).
A darts professional may choose to use the Semi-Pro Ring
(number 2) or the Pro Ring (number 1) in specifc areas of
the board, over doubles or trebles.
Progress Charts
Players can record their progress using the paper Progress
Charts provided. Pin a Progress Chart to any quadrant on
the dartboard. Throw 21 darts, aiming for a specifc area
on the chart do this before you start using the Darts
Practce Rings. Make sure you sign and date the Progress
Chart and put it to one side.

Following approximately 3 weeks of contnuous use of the
Darts Practce Rings, take a new Progress Chart and pin it
to the same quadrant as previously. Again, throw 21 darts.
Compare the progress you have made with the frst chart.
See for yourself how much these really work!

Level Two: The Advanced Game. All players start with Ring number 3 - the Advanced
Ring - and are able to choose to go up in size to the Improved Ring or down in size to
the Semi-Pro Ring.
Level Three: The Pro game. All players start with Ring number 2 - the Semi Pro Ring
- and are able to choose to go up in size to the Advanced Ring or down in size to the
Pro Ring.
To Play:
Firstly, players choose the level of game they will be playing; Level 1, 2 or 3.
Secondly, each player takes it in turn to throw 1 dart at the bulls eye. The player who
lands their dart closest to the bull will begin their turn frst. The second closest will
have their turn second etc.
Player 1 throws the dart with his (or her) opposite hand in order to determine the
next players startng ring positon. If for example you are lef handed you will use
your right hand to throw this frst dart and vice versa if you are right handed.
This is a game for up to 4 players.
There are three levels to this game;
Level One: The Beginner Game. All players start
with Ring number 4 - the Improved Ring. This is the
second largest ring of the set. This enables players to
choose to go up in size to the Beginner Ring or down
in size to the Advanced Ring.
This throw is merely to positon the locaton of the other players target ring. Player 2
does the same thing to determine the positon of Player 3s target ring. This contnues
untl the fnal player throws to determine the positon of Player 1s target ring.
The opponents ring is positoned around the dart and must be completely within the
playing area of the dartboard. If 2 darts land in the same place or cause an overlap of
rings, the second dart must be thrown again.
Once all players target rings are in place, the frst player aims (using his preferred
throwing hand this tme) to land his darts in his own target ring to score points.
If a player gets 1 dart out of 3 through their own ring they score 1 point.
If a player gets 2 darts out of 3 through their own ring they have a choice
to either;
Take 2 points Or
Chose to move their ring or an opponents ring to another locaton on
the dartboard.
If a player gets 3 darts out of 3 through their own ring they have a
choice to;
Take 3 points
Elect to change their ring to a larger ring making it easier for them
to score
Elect to reduce an opponents ring to a smaller ring - the next ring
size down.
Alternatvely a player can aim for an opponents target ring.
For every dart a player throws through an opponents ring, a point will be deducted
from that opponents score.
If a player gets 3 darts through their opponents ring they can either;
Knock 3 points of that opponents score
Change the opponents ring to a smaller or bigger ring
Elect to change their own ring up a size, or down a size to a smaller ring.
The 6 Dart Bonus: If a player throws 3 darts through their own ring and elects to take
the points, then throws another 3 darts through their own ring on their next turn
again, taking the points, they will get a 6 dart bonus! Not only will they receive the 3
points from each turn for getng 3 darts through their ring, but they will receive an
additonal 3 points for getng 6 consecutve darts through their own ring earning
them a total of 9 points in just two turns.
The game can be played to achieve any
predetermined score of an even number
(e.g. 22, 32, 42. 52, 102 etc).
To win the game, a player must win by a clear
2 points. For example; if both players are on 51
points and the game is being played to get
52 points, to win the game a player must get 53
points. The frst player to reach the determined
score wins the game!

A player mounts any sized ring on the 20 point
target area so that the top of the ring is on top of
the double 20 point target area.
The player frst throws a dart through the ring.
The ring is then unpinned allowing it to drop
down onto the dart. The ring is then re-pinned
into positon and the dart is removed.
The positon of the ring will eventually move down the board, where the process is
repeated untl the ring is positoned at the botom, in the double 3 point target area.
At this point the game has fnished.
The player can see how many darts it takes to get the ring from double 20 to double
3. They can aim to reduce the number of throws required with improved accuracy.

Each player will throw a total of 3 darts at the ring.
If a player does not get any of their 3 darts through the ring, they will lose a life.
If a player throws 3 of their darts though the ring, they will gain a life. However, you
can only get a life back if you have 2 lives or less.
All the players take their turn at the number 1 ring, then the ring is moved to the
number 2 positon on the board.
The Beginners Ring, number 5, will be used for numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the board.
Ring number 4 will be used for numbers 5, 6, 7 and 8 on the board.
Ring number 3 will be used for numbers 9, 10, 11 and 12 on the board.
Ring number 2 will be used for numbers 13, 14, 15 and 16 on the board.
Ring number 1 will be used for numbers 17, 18, 19 and 20 on the board.
Each player starts with 3 lives, there is no limit
on the amount of players. The player who lands
their dart closest to the bull goes frst.
Start with the Beginners Ring, ring number 5,
and pin this between the double and treble
on number 1.
The players play around the board from number 1 to number 20.
If there is no winner when the players reach number 20, the game resets and starts
again from number 1, using the next ring size down.
The Improved Ring, number 4 will be used for numbers 1,2,3, 4 on the board.
The game contnues going around the board, reducing the rings untl there is a only
one player lef they are the winner!
If at any point in the game a ring moves as a result of being hit by a dart, the ring
must stay in that positon untl the player has thrown all 3 of their darts.
At this point they can remove their darts and return the ring to its original positon.
If a ring comes of the board, it may be replaced immediately.

The objectve of the game is to kill of your opponents by throwing darts through their ring.
Players start with a total of 3 lives, this is the maximum number of lives each player
can possess at any one tme.
Each tme a player throws a dart through an opponents ring, the player loses a life.
Each tme a player throws a dart through their own ring, they gain a life.
To determine who goes frst:
Player 1 throws a dart with their opposite hand to determine the startng point
for player 2.
Player 2 does the same for player 3s startng point.
Player 3 does the same for player 4s startng point.
Player 4 will do the same to determine player 1s startng point.
The player who lands their dart nearest to the bull goes frst.
Up to four players can play Killer Rings.
There are 5 levels of play. The easiest game is
the Beginners Game which uses ring size 5.
The hardest game is the Pro Game which uses
ring size 1. Once the level of play has been
selected, all players will use the same sized
number ring.
To begin play:
Before any player can start killing of other players they must frst land a dart in their
own double. For example if a players ring is positoned over both the 20 and 1
secton of the board, the number in which the players frst dart (the dart that
determined the positon of the ring) landed will be the number of the double
which the player needs to hit.
Once a player lands a dart in their corresponding double they begin killing.
A killer can aim for any
one of his opponents rings,
regardless of whether they
are themselves a killer
or not.
A player is out once they
have lost all 3 lives.
The sole remaining player
wins the game.

1 - When you frst get your Darts Practce Rings you should start by completng a Progress Chart; this
will help plot your progress as the weeks go by. Ensure that you put the date on the back of the chart.

2 - Start of using the Beginner Ring (number 5). As you get beter and your ability increases, move down
a ring size. Dont forget to go at your own pace.

3 - Dont be afraid to use more than one ring at a tme. You can use several rings around the board,
especially over the targets you struggle with.

4 - Practce the Pro Target game 20 to 3. This will help you to throw your darts straight, and in a
consistent manner.

5 - Put the rings in selected places like the treble 20 and treble 19. Try putng the Pro Ring (number 1)
on the doubles e.g. double 20, double 10, double 16 or double 8.

6 - Practce your checkouts with the rings. For example, 109: place a ring over treble 19, a ring over the
single 12 and the Pro Ring (number 1) over the double 20. For 132: place a ring over treble 20, a ring over
treble 16 and the Pro Ring (number 1) over double 12. This will really help your fnishing.

7 - The Progress Chart can be used anywhere on the board, not just the 5, 20 or 1. Use it on the 7, 19, 3 or
the 1, 18, 4. Move the chart around the board to become profcient on any part of the board.

8 - Put the Advanced Ring (number 3) on the number 1 between the double and treble. Throw 3 darts
through the ring, then move the ring to the number 2 and do the same. Repeat this process through all of
the numbers - 3, 4, 5, 6 etc, up to 20. Keep score of how many darts you get through the rings. If you get
all 3 darts through all of the numbers, the maximum you will score is 60. See how well you do and keep a
record of this. Each tme you play, try and improve on your previous score. You can also do this with the
Semi-Pro Ring (number 2) over the doubles and trebles.

9 - When you play in your local pub or in a darts tournament, imagine that the rings are on the board.
This will really help to maintain your grouping and aiming.

10 - I feel this is the most important tp I can give you - Rome was not built in a day.
To be good at any sport you need to practse and have dedicaton. You only get out of darts what you put
in. If you regularly use the Darts Practce Rings, I guarantee
that you will improve your game 100%.

Good luck!
