Description

DELFIX CM is available in gray or white color.

Uses

DELFIX CM is used for the permanent fixing of ceramic tiles to
walls and floors, uses include:
Wet areas kitchens & bathrooms
Tile cladding
Swimming pools

Limitations

DELFIX CM should not be used when the temperature is below
5
o
C and falling, and should not be exposed to running water
before complete dryness.

DELFIX CM is available in 25 kg bags.

Shelf Life

DELFIX CM is guaranteed to have 12 months shelf life if stored as
per instructions.

Storage

Store in dry conditions in the original unopened bags or packs.

Fire

DELFIX CM is non-flammable.

Instructions for Use

Surface Preparation
Surfaces must be sound and clean, free from grease or any other
residues. Surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned before application.

Surfaces
DELFIX CM can be applied directly on concrete, cement screed,
and cement or lime mortar or plaster.
Care should be taken when tiling on new construction surfaces
since shrinkage movements could result in serious damages.

Mixing
4.0 to 5.0 liters of water are required for each 25 kg bag, mixing by
a slow speed drill equipped with a mixing paddle is recommended.
For a uniform mix, add powder to water and mix for 2 to 3 minutes.

Application
Mortar should be spread on the substrate to a uniform thickness of
2-3mm, and combed horizontally.
Place tiles firmly into adhesive bed, ensuring good contact with a
twisting motion. Only apply to areas which can be tiled in the
adhesives open wet time (1 sq. m. at a time).

Cleaning
Tools must be cleaned with fresh water before the material is set,
cured material can only be removed mechanically.

Health and Safety

DELFIX CM contains cement powders which, when mixed with
water release alkalis which can be harmful to the skin.
Avoid inhalation of the dust and contact with the skin or eyes, wear
suitable gloves during application and mixing.
In case of contact with skin or eyes rinse immediately with fresh
clean water, and clean with soap and water.
If swallowed seek medical attention immediately.
