DIRECTIONS:
For best results, please read all project instructions
before beginning any project.
Sparkling Decorative Party Plate
1. Clean plate with soapy water. Rinse and dry
thoroughly.
2. Pour out a puddle of Metallic Bronze Gleams
paint onto paper plate. Using the Stencil Sponge,
pounce paint onto the decorative stamp and
stamp mulberry paper as desired. Refer to photo.
Let paint dry. (You may use a hair dryer to speed
up the drying process.)
3. Position the plate on top of the stamped paper
and mark a circle about 1-1/2" larger than the
plate. Cut out along pattern line.
4. Pour out a large puddle of Gloss Decoupage
Medium on a paper plate.
5. Brush a generous coat of Decoupage Medium on
the back of the glass plate.
6. Place the cut-out circle over the back of the plate,
painted side down and brush on more Decoupage
Medium. The paper should be saturated and
should stick to the back of the plate. Work out any
air bubbles with the brush. Make sure you apply
adequate medium to the paper edge so that it
does not separate from the glass.
7. Set aside to let dry thoroughly, overnight is best.
8. Using a craft knife or razor blade, gently cut away
the excess paper from the edges of the plate.
Wrapping Paper
1. Pour out a puddle of Pearl Finish Gleams on a
paper plate.
2. Using the Stencil Sponge, pounce paint onto one
of the star stamps. Stamp on tissue as desired,
refer to photo.
3. Repeat until you have stamped all of the star
designs. Fill in any blank areas with the Accent
Swirl Stamp, refer to photo.
4. Let dry thoroughly.
