EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN (MAIN CAMP)

1. Emergencies associated at Camp Site
Fire
Oil leakage
Short circuit
2. Signals for Emergency Response
Hooter will start in case of any emergency.
3. Emergency response Team
Emergency response team will be responsible for:
Overall monitoring of the HSE activities.
Maintain liaison with HSE department for required information.
Ensure availability of safety and fire fighting equipments.
Team members include:

Mr. Malik Rabnawaz, Project Manager (0307-8880402)
Mr. Qasir, Admin (0307-8880410)
Mr. Nadeem Akhter, Asst. Admin (0307-8880415)
Mr. Muhammad Irfan , HSE Manager (0307-8880406)
Mr. Waqas Sabir, Dispenser (0312-6145106)

4. Emergency Responsibility

HSE Manager will be responsible for:
Establishing, implementing, maintaining emergency response plan.
Determining the need and procurement of emergency response equipments at
Plant.
Identification of assembly area.
Insure security system during emergency.
Suitability and effectiveness of emergency organization.
Identify potential emergency situation.
Ensure effectiveness of emergency response plan
Managing the emergency situation.

Field Response Team Leader
Team leader will be responsible for:
HSE Manager will be Fire fighting Team Leader
Fire fighting drills.
Ensure maintenance and upkeep of fire extinguishers.

Other Employees
All employees will familiarize themselves with evacuation route.
Any employee, who has visitor / visitors at the time of emergency, will be
responsible to ensure that they evacuate safely.

Once the hazard is over and ALL CLEAR has been announced, all employees will return to
their work places in an orderly fashion.

Actions in the event of fire
Person detecting fire
Anyone noticing the fire should immediately inform HSE Manager.

Actions by emergency responders
The person noticing the fire should try to put the fire out with the help of the trained
person by using the existing fire extinguishers.
Fire fighting team upon hearing the alarm will immediately assemble at the reception.

Actions by telephone operators
Upon receiving the instructions from fire fighting Team Leader call will be made to
Sahiwal local emergency. (Rescue 1122)

Oil Leakage
Minor spill: If soil contaminated by minor spill covering area is up to 0.1m
2
will be
collected and disposed off in soil.

Moderate spill: If soil contaminated by moderate spill covering area is up to 200
Liters

will be used sand and shovels and disposed off in soil by the approval of
Engineer.

Major spill: If soil contaminated by major spill covering area is more than 200 Liters
will be reported to disaster management team.
