In2000,PrimeMinister EhudBarak offered tocreateaPalestinianstateinallofGazaand97
percentoftheWestBank.
In2008,PrimeMinisterEhudOlmert offeredtowithdrawfromalmosttheentireWestBank
andpartitionJerusalemonademographicbasis.
ThePalestiniansbelievethattimeisontheirside.Theyfeelthatdemographicswilldefeat
theJewsinonehundredortwohundredyears,justlikethe Crusaders.ThePalestiniansalso
hopetheArabswillacquirenuclearweaponsinthefuturethatwillallowthemtodefeat
Israel.
