This list is an extension to [1] and [2] and takes precedence over it between two amendments.
Objective
The objective of this document is to list all OBIS codes defined in the IEC 62056-61 and pren
13757 standards (DLMS UA Blue book) in the standard range.
This OBIS list table is used by the COSEM Conformance Test tool (CTT) for testing the OBIS
codes used by the implementation under test.
Explanations
For this purpose, the tabke is machine (and human) readable.
Lines marked by 'com' are for the human reader, these lines are not interpreted by the tool.
Lines marked by 'def' include range definitions for the different positions of the OBIS code.
These definitions will apply in the lines below the definition.
In the column IC class, IC classes as defined in [1] and [2] are included.
In column Alt IC class alternative possibilities are proposed, the test tool will accept them.
"*" in this colum means any interface class. This is used only for manufacturer specific classes.
Lines filled grey show the start of a new range of identifiers. These are "com" lines and they are not
interpreted by the tool.
Fileds filled yellow highlight some proposals made by Gyozo Kmethy.
Red text means problems identified in [1] and [2]. These problems, after their solution will be in an
amended version of the Blue Book, and then in the standards.
They do not cause problem for conformance testing.

Value group A defines the characteristic of the data item to be identified
(abstract data, energy type). A= 0 means abstract objects. Standard abstract
objects are the same for all energy types (media). For compatibility with existing
implementations, in value group A an identifier for an energy type may be used
even for abstract objects. The value "a" is the value of A for the energy type
measured by the logical device. Group B defines channels 0-64. Values 65-127
and 255 are reserved. The standard range of value group C is 0-127. The
standard range of value group D is 0-127. Group E generally is used to define
tariffs. The standard range is 0-63. When group E defines harmonics, the
standard range is 0-127. Group F generally is used for historical values. The
standard range is 0-99 and 100-126. In groups B to F 128-254 are manufacturer
specific. In all groups the value 255 means "not used".
com Range definitions
com "def" in the first column means a row which defines a range of values valid for group A,B,C,D,E,or F for the lines below that row.
com In Group A, the character '&' means that the value 0 and an energy type related code (e.g. in case of electgricity 1) can be used.

implementations, in value group A an identifier for an energy type may be
used even for abstract objects, if this - together with the interface class -
does not lead to overlapping codes. This is indicated by the character '&' in
Group A.

The standard
range of value group D is 0-127. Group E generally is used to define tariffs. The
standard range is 0-63. When group E defines harmonics, the standard range is 0-
127. Group F generally is used for historical values. The standard range is 0-99
and 100-126. In groups B to F 128-254 are manufacturer specific. In all groups the
value 255 means "not used".

specific objects
If any group B to F contains a value between 128 and 254, the whole code is
considered as manufacturer specific and even the other value groups, (with the
exception of group A) are not necessarily bearing any meaning defined by this
standard. In all groups, the value 255 means "not used". Manufacturer specific
objects can be of any class. The manufacturer must ensure that each and every
COSEM object within the logical device can be uniquely identified by the
combination of its OBIS name and interface class.
