Who is this course suitable for?
CISSP Accelerated Training Programme is designed for experienced information sec
urity professionals who require a complete programme of preparation prior to tak
ing the (ISC)2 CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) exami
nation. Please note that in addition to passing the examination, qualification f
or CISSP also requires delegates to have at least 5 years work experience in the

Unique 3 -Phase Study Programme
Phase 1 - Pre-Course CISSP Knowledge Assessment
Before attending the course, all delegates will be asked to take a free online p
re-course assessment designed to determine the strengths and weakness of their c
urrent knowledge. The results of this assessment will be used by our trainer to
prepare an individual Pre Course Study Plan and to adapt the delivery of the sub
sequent class-room training to meet the needs of the individual and the group.
Phase 2 Classroom Training
Our experienced trainer will present and review the information associated with t
he 10 CISSP Domains (updated to 2012 version) which constitute the required (ISC
)2 Common Body of Knowledge:

Telecommunications & Network Security
Information Security Governance & Risk Management
Software Development Security
Cryptography
Security Architecture & Design
Operations Security
Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Planning
Legal, Regulations, Investigations & Compliance
Physical (Environmental) Security
Evening Support Sessions
After the Classroom Training on the first four days of this programme, our train
er is available in the evening for one to one discussion, Q&A and to provide hints
and tips on how to approach taking the CISSP exam. These informal sessions are
held in a nearby hotel and have proved to be invaluable to previous delegates, m
any of whom have also chosen to book their accommodation in the same location (p
lease see Accommodation Option).
Phase 3 Final Preparation
To provide continued support during the crucial pre-exam period of preparation,
all delegates will have access to our Online Resources which deliver a synopsis
of all essential CBK information together with practice exam questions. They als
o have online access to our trainer who will answer any last minutes questions a
s required.
Our experience shows that delegates have the highest chance of success if they s
it the CISSP examination on a date that is less than 2 weeks after the completio
n of the programme. All bookings for the CISSP Accelerated Training Programme wi
ll include access to the Online Resources for a period of 2 weeks.
Are the 3 Phases compulsory for this programme?
The Pre-Course CISSP Knowledge Assessment and Final Preparation resources are av
ailable on an optional basis for this programme. However, to ensure that delegat
es fully prepare and increase their chance of passing the CISSP exam first time,
we strongly recommend that all 3 Phases are fully undertaken. Delegates with mo
re experience or those who have taken the exam before are very welcome to attend
the Classroom Training only. There is no additional charge for the pre-course a
nd final preparation resources.
Accommodation Option
The CISSP Accelerated Training Programme has been designed to provide intensive
and rigorous preparation for the CISSP examination. Our classroom and evening se
ssions are delivered on a long-day basis and we strongly recommend that all delega
tes book this programme together with our Accommodation Option. This offers a 4-
night bed and breakfast stay in a local hotel within a 10 minute walk of our tra
ining centre.
Are there entry requirements?
While there are no mandatory requirements, we can confirm that this course is fo
r experienced information security professionals who are studying and preparing
for the (ISC)2 CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) exami
nation.
Please note that even after successful completion of the exam, only those who ca
n demonstrate 5 years of experience amongst the 10 domains will be granted the C
ISSP certification. Others will be able to call themselves CISSP Associate until
they gain the 4 years of experience.
