INTRODUCTION
The preparation of School Improvement Plan is done to ensure that the future of the
institution is taken great concern and for us to be guided in all our endeavors. This helps
the school administrator, teachers, parents, students and all stakeholders to have a clear
view of the targets necessary for the betterment of the school.
This plan is developed based on the needs of the school, prioritizing and identifying
the target of profitability on the students. Every stakeholder intends to use and implement
this plan in a progressive manner so as to see and be able to reap whatever has been
cultivated.

B. THE SCHOOL CONTEXT:
Tagum (ity "ational 0igh School is located at $angga, %isayan %illage Tagum (ity, in a
Twenty Thousand Three 1)2,22+! s3uare meter lot donated by $r. 4 $rs. (limaco *.
$aurillo which is appro5imately +22 meters away from the .avao6*gusan "ational 0ighway.
The school was established by virtue of a #arrio (harter approved lat 7ebruaryr -,
89:, amidst pressures and conflicts to cater the need of the poor and average6income
families in Tagum. It opened with 9; first year students and /- second year students on
<une 89:= and $arch 8:2 was its maiden graduation.
The school was converted from Tagum (ommunity 0igh School to Tagum $unicipal
0igh School in 8:) and transferred to its new location last >ctober -, 8;). It was
renamed Tagum (ity "ational 0igh School by virtue of (ity >rdinance "o. 8), s. )22/,
dated September 8, )22/.
"ow, Tagum (ity "ational 0igh School is the most populous secondary school in Tagum
(ity .ivision and it offers four 1-! curricula to address various learning needs of the
constituents.

upright individuals and promote academic e5cellence through information, communication and
technological breakthroughs, to make them responsible and productive citizens of our

during and after a disaster.

increase environmental concern among teachers and students through activities like
reforestation, proper waste disposal, etc.
