A ONCE IN A DECADE LUNAR ECLIPSE

Every month, we have a full moon. Two or three times each year, the Full Moon is
also a Lunar Eclipse. This month is one of those. And the Lunar Eclipse (Full Moon) on
October 8, 2014 is truly spectacular.

Every Eclipse (both Solar and Lunar) is like a burst of energy in our lives. If we have
been working in harmony with core themes in our lives (if we are 'on track'), then the
burst of energy from the eclipse speeds us up and we are suddenly making more
progress toward our goals for three to six months after the eclipse.

Alternatively, if we have been avoiding taking action on the patient building of our
soul's journey desires (if we are 'lost in the poppy field'), then the burst of energy
creates a wake-up call as if it is reminding us to get things moving.

tension with the likes of Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. The intention of
tension (a poetic accident) is for us to take action to resolve the tension, which

our lives?

First, since the Moon, Uranus, Jupiter and Mars (A, B and C in the chart above)
create a Grand Trine, the energies in this eclipse work together in a harmonious
way. Trines are soft energies that are in balance and naturally bring harmony.
Unlike many of the recent eclipses with the tension of squares and oppositions, this
eclipse will definitely be more comfortable to work with. I think most of you would
agree, that comfort is a nice change (in contrast to the Grand Cross and the image
of The Wookie)!
Second, since these planets are in the Fire signs of Aries, Leo and Sagittarius, they
share a common feeling and perspective. Fire energies interact well together
because they LOVE to play and have fun. This aspect of play and fun allows us to
express ourselves with a bit less inhibition than we normally feel day to day.

These fire energies in a trine give us the freedom (Uranus) to be courageous (Mars)
