Here at Group Mission Trips and Groups Simply Youth Ministry, we understand our calling as the nations
most-trusted youth ministry resource provider. In 37 years of planning and leading Jesus-centered,
relational mission experiences for youth groups, more than 400,000 lives have been touched. Out
of that role, an important question arose: How can we make this kind of experience accessible to any
teenager, even if they arent going to camp with a youth group?
Our answer is Camp Lifetree.
Camp Lifetree joins the forces of friendships, fun, and summer camp craziness with the challenge and
life-change of a mission trip to create what could be the most transformational week of your teenagers
life. At Camp Lifetree your teen will experience
Gods unconditional love and acceptance
Leadership training and a choice of leadership labs that build on their strengths
Opportunities to discover their unique gifts and abilities while serving others
Spiritual guidance from highly qualied and trained sta and counselors
Its an opportunity unlike any other as teens spend a week connecting with Jesus and 400 like-minded
peers, having a ridiculous amount of fun, and changing the lives of others. Imagine all Jesus could do with
that experience in your teenagers life. Thats a snapshot of Camp Lifetree.
Thanks for taking the time to consider allowing us to spend a week with your teenager this upcoming
summer. It is truly an honor.
In Christ,

HOW DO CAMPERS SERVE?
Camp Lifetree is built on meaningful and well-planned service experiences.
Work projects center around meeting a communitys greatest needs
and are organized with your son or daughter in mind. They will work in
their 6-person, same-gender crews to serve individuals and organizations
through projects like building wheelchair ramps, repairing porches and
steps, or painting houses.
At Camp Lifetree, campers eyes will be
opened to the needs all around them every
day, and they will be inspired to continue
serving others in their own community.

Character
TAKING CARE OF YOUR SON OR
DAUGHTER IS OUR PRIORITY!
Safety is a top priority of Camp Lifetree. The care of every camper is of utmost
importance. Sta and counselors create a safe environment in every aspect of Camp
Lifetree. Heres how:
Lodging: Campers stay in secure dormitories of colleges
located near the community where they will be serving.
Exclusive access for these facilities is given to Camp
Lifetree, and the dormitories can only be accessed by key
cards that are given to campers and sta (enhancing safety
and preventing campers from accessing dorms of the
opposite gender).
Food: Campers eat breakfast and dinner on location, while
lunch will be eaten during a break on worksites. The food
is healthy and high-quality, and special dietary needs will
be accommodated.

Care
Worksites: Every crew receives detailed safety procedures, and thorough
safety training is oered to all participants. Trained crew counselors
pay close attention to all worksite activity to ensure that all projects are
conducted in the safest manner possible. In addition, experienced sta visit
each worksite daily.
Transportation: Transportation is coordinated to and from worksites
and the lodging facility each day. Professional, screened bus drivers
(with extensive knowledge of the area) ensure each crew travels to its
worksite safely.
Intentional Structure: Camp sta and crew counselors structure the daily
schedule and supervise all activities throughout the week, ensuring the
safety of your son or daughter.

devotional times, and supervising
worksites. They also receive training
