Daughter,

Canto 2
Child of Nature,
Unashamed of your nakedness,
Animal skins adorn your body,
Strangers wonder from a distance,
Paradise lost not,
On you,
Your soul,

Canto 3
The Jungle is your home,
Anacondas fear you,
Lions protect you,
Birds adore you,
Dolphins seek you,
Monkeys are your friends,
Butterflies resting upon your shoulders,
 Canto 4
Healer of the Earth,
Mystical herbs,
Whose secrets are bond,
Only in your spirit,
Mysteries of the ancients,
Handed down,
From mother to daughter,

Canto 5
Shamanic Priestess,
Violently persecuted,
From time immemorial,
For your magical enchantments,
Burned at the stake,
Merciless,
Falsely accused of evilness,

Canto 6
My woman,
Love of my universe,
Life upon my life,
My love,
Mother of our blood,
I love you,
More than words can ever express,

Femella dominium mudus,
For women are the stronger,
Of Humanity,
Spiritually superior,
Creator of Life,
Caregiver,
Angelic,

Unselfish,
 In her love,
Unwavering,
In her faith,
A fierce spirit,
Undeniable,
A Divine Goddess,

Downtrodden woman,
Raped,
Insanely tormented,
Viciously murdered,
Objectified,
Throughout the ages,
For the fear you instill, inadvertently, in men,

On behalf of man’s ignorance,
For all the violence,
For all the injustices upon you,
I plead to you,
On bended knees,
I bow to you in reverence,
Please forgive us for the hurt we have caused you,
I am sorry…
