The education model put forth is meant to serve as an open source course for anyone

interested in a career in sustainable agriculture, business, and town/building design.

Sustainable tends to be a trigger word so for our purposes we will define it simply as a
whole system that fills its needs without polluting. analyzing all elements of a farm or a
home or a town will help us define the input needs and outputs of the whole. This
course is heavily focussed on biology, our interactions with our environments, and how
to stabilize our needs and effects to lessen our environmental impact and strengthen our
local resource securities. Three parts will break down into ten broad topics to be
addressed by the following texts.
Part one Life is broken down into five topics. Microbiology, plants, animals, insects,
fungus will all be analyzed for there internal biology, their environments, and their
standing place in our communities. Focuses such as conservation, agriculture,
community design, and business will be related to the topics to establish an
understanding of there working place in human settlements.
Part two Design will focus on the design and construction of everything from energy,
water, and waste management, to the building of homes, farms, businesses, and
community centers. Part two is heavily if not completely influenced by part one, future
communities will depend on a deep understanding of the workings of life and
ecosystems to maintain the stability of our environments.
Part three Community is focused on topics pertaining to economics, law, community
centers, and projects. Communities will need to work together to build the systems
needed for our existence to remain sustained without destroying the environment.
