+hen does so'eone own so'ething, -enerally, when he.she p%rchases so'ething, he.she owns the ite'/ +hen we 'an%&act%re, cra&t, or 'a0e so'ething, do we own it, O& co%rse, we do1 The article 'ade belongs to the 'a0er or co'pany/ The owner can then 0eep it, sell it, or een gie it away/ The owner 'ay een throw it away i& the thing 'ade does not &%l&ill its p%rpose1 2i0ewise, i& we are created beings, what does it i'ply abo%t o%r ownership, *o we own o%rseles or does the 3reator own %s, The 4oly 5cript%res clearly state the origin o& the heaens and eerything on earth/ Acts 14 in the Bible relates an interesting eent with apostles Barnabas and )a%l/ To help eeryone relate to the origin o& the 'iracles de'onstrated and obsere their d%ties to the 3reator, they said, Friends, why are yo% doing this, +e too are only h%'an, li0e yo%/ +e are bringing yo% good news, telling yo% to t%rn &ro' these worthless things to the living God, who made the heavens and the earth and the sea and everything in them. 6Acts 14718, N(9: {1} 2eading %p to this appeal, as gien in Acts 147; to 14711, Apostle )a%l apparently per&or's a 'irac%lo%s c%re/ Acts 14718 aboe relates how )a%l responded to those who clai'ed that he was <god= in h%'an &or'/ 5o why did )a%l bring in the concept o& the living God, who made the heavens and the earth? and also co'pare h%'an beings to -od, i.e., why did he say that we too are human? To %nderstand, let %s re&lect on the &irst paragraph again/ 3an a 'an%&act%red or cra&ted thing hae the sa'e powers or s0ills as its originator, For e>a'ple, can a car and its 'an%&act%rer hae the sa'e s0ills and powers? can an artist and his painting share s0ills and powers or can a stat%e hae the sa'e @%alities as its 'a0er, )a%l was si'ply appealing to the intelligence o& those gathered/ A created thing cannot, by any stretch o& i'agination, hae the sa'e powers or s0ills as its 3reator/ The created obAect can only de'onstrate powers and s0ills gien by the 3reator/ 3reated things cannot hae independent powers and s0ills1 The 'ost recent and &inal 4oly 5cript%re or Reelation &or this reason reiterates, 10.66 Behold! Verily to Allah belong all creatures in the heavens and on earth. What do they follow who worship as His "partners" other than Allah? They follow nothin !ut fancy and they do nothin !ut lie.
