OK TUBROD 15.27
A basic flux cored wire for HSLA steels
Classification AWS A 5.29: E110T5-G
DESCRIPTION
OK TUBROD 15.27 is a fully basic low hydrogen flux cored wire depositing a 2.5 Ni
alloy designed for welding of high tensile strength steels such as HY 100. It is also
suitable for welding high tensile steels with a low temperature toughness requirement
down to -60C. The wire is capable of welding in all positions and uses the dip
transfer mode for the vertical-up technique, which can be further enhanced by the
synergic pulsed process. The flux-cored wire welds with a very smooth and stable
arc and deposits a very thin slag that is easily removable. The weld bead is smooth
and shiny with a flat bead profile.
SHIELDING GAS: CO

or Argon with 20% CO

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
OK TUBROD 15.27 is used for the welding of quenched and tempered steels as
N-A-XTRA 90, N-A-XTRA 100, HY100, etc. which are used for offshore jack-up
structures and general structural fabrication of high tensile steels for low temperature
service.

OK TUBROD 14.30A
A rutile flux cored wire for welding 18 Cr, 8 Ni
steels for welding of stainless steel
Classification AWS A5.22: E308LTO-1, E308LTO-4
DESCRIPTION
OK TUBROD 14.30A is a flux cored tubular wire designed for the welding of stainless
steels containing 18-20% Cr and 8-12% Ni. It can also be used for welding the
stabilised grades 321 and 347 types in most cases, except when the environmental
corrosive conditions are very severe. The slag volume is thin and its removal effortless,
final weld bead is smooth, shiny and with finely rippled appearance. Due to the
extremely stable DC+ arc, spatter levels are virtually non-existent.
SHIELDING GAS: Ar/CO

APPROVALS: TUV, LR, DB
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
OK TUBROD 14.30A is intended for welding austenitic stainless steels corresponding
to AISI 304L, 304, 308L, 308 etc. In most cases it is also suitable for welding the
stabilised grades 321 and 347 types, except when the corrosive conditions are very
severe.
