TECHNICAL PROTOCOL

PROJECT:
- Proposed Installation of 10,100m by 2x50mm HDPE Pipe and 144f FOC
along PEATC, Coastal and R1 Extension, Cavite
(OWNING THE HIGHWAY)

I. PROJECT OBJECTIVES:

To establish FOC resiliency route between Binakayan Tambo Exchanges
To establish FOC resiliency route 2 between Nasugbu Sampaloc DFON
Loop Link


II. GENERAL SCOPE OF WORKS:

The scope of work shall cover activities necessary to achieve the project
objectives.

PERMITTING/ROW

III. DETAILED CONTRACTORS SCOPE OF WORK:


1. Civil Works

Excavation (Medium Earth)
Backfilling & Restoration (Asphalt or Concrete)
Construction of Handhole (Collapsible Type) every 500 meters
Construction of Five (5) Service Box (Splice Pit)
Installation of 2-50mm HDPE Pipe
Cleaning of excess materials and Debris


2. OSP/Cable Works
Installation of UG Cable (FOC) 4f-216f 41 Span
Splicing of FOC (144f) Outdoor 5 Splice pt.
Splicing of FOC (4f) Outdoor 4 Splice pt.
Termination of FOC (4f-216f) In-Building
Pushrodding and Mandrelling
Installation of Guide Ropes



3. Other related Scope of Works (ROW) Permit Acquisition

Secure Right-of-Way and Working Permits from necessary entities
(PEATC, Local Government, Traffic Management and Barangays)
Attend Meetings with Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) DPWH, Govt.
and Private entities if needed.
Pay necessary permit fees covered by Official Receipt (O.R) subject
for reimbursement.
Provide safety barricades, warning/information signs, rubber cones,
flashing lights, signboard with flashing lights as may be required by
PEATC.



IV. CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY:

Perform and complete project as defined in the Project Objective and
Scope of Works:
- OSP Works Installation of all required materials.
- Civil Works Supply and Installation of all required materials.
Shall restore to their original condition all facilities such as ROW fence
that any be affected during the construction subject to the full satisfaction
of the concerned Tollway Operator.
Shall submit AS-BUILT Plan upon completion of the contract works.
Shall secure Certificate of Acceptance
Shall coordinate strictly with concerned Tollway Operator for the smooth
implementation of the project and shall comply with requirement in
accordance with standard practice that may be imposed.
Permit Fees shall be under Contractors Account
Accountable for any damages which maybe incurred during construction
period.
Construction Performance Bonds.
Provide Warranty on completed works.


V. PLDT RESPONSIBILITY:

Assist in initial site survey and staking
Provide site map, plans and relevant documents
Provide necessary documents for the acquisition of ROW permit/s.
Project Inspection and monitoring
Acceptance
