Description
GE550 preassembled groups enable to meter heating and/or conditioning
consumption in underfoor radiant sytems, with mixed zones or direct
connection zones.
Components are preassembled on a supporting frame without door suitable
for suspended wall installation or to be embedded in an apposite niche.

Installation
Frames installation
Fix frames to the wall vertically, by means of appropriate tessellation.
By-pass pipes connection
Connect by-pass pipes between delivery and return groups neatly.
System washing
It is important to wash the system before energy meters are installed. For the
washing the spacer pipe supplied with the group must be used and only
later it must be replaced with the section of measure of the meter fow .
Energy meters installation
When the system is washed, the spacer pipe can be replaced with the meter,
paying attention to fow direction written on the body of the meter. Install
the delivery temperature sensor of the meter in the Corresponding sensor
holder on the delivery group (by means of O-R gasket and kit supplied with
the meter).
System testing
After installations test the system under pressure.

The installation must be carried out by qualifed staff. Rules
regarding use, functioning, readjustment and replacement of
meters must be observed. The system needs to be washed
before meters are installed. (EN 1434).

Electric connections: terminal box
In preassembled return groups there is a DIN guide with electric cabinets
with 8 terminals, to connect according to fgure 5 and table 2.
Electric connections: thermal Energy meter
M-Bus communication module of the energy meter must be connected to
terminal 9 (conductor RED L1+) and terminal 10 (conductor GREEN L2-) of
the terminal box in IP55 cabinet.
The electric installation must be carried out by qualifed staff.
Assure that power supply is taken off while connecting.
