 Give the proper hand signals when turning or stopping.
 Stop at all intersections, get off your bike and walk it across
the street.
 Do not carry others on your bike.
 Avoid riding your bike after dark. If you must, make sure your
bike has reflectors and wear light-colored, so drivers will be
able to see you.
 Have an adult inspect your bike regularly to make sure it is in
good condition.
