The curved contra-alto clarinet is pitched
one octave lower than the alto clarinet
and adds richness and warmth to the
bass section of concert/symphonic
bands and clarinet choirs. Model 350
features an ease of playing and a flexibil-
ity that are very similar to the bass
clarinet. Its deep, dark resonance and
clear tone quality greatly reinforce the
complete clarinet section. The contra-alto
has the added advantage of an extended
range to low C.

straight body and extended range to low
Eb. Its comfortable hand and finger
spacing permit ease of playing, even by

The curved contrabass clarinet is pitched
one octave lower than the bass clarinet
and is the true bass of the clarinet family.
Model 340 features even response and
uniform intonation throughout all
registers and has a deep, rich, solid tone
quality that gives a strong fundamental
foundation to the concert/symphonic
band and clarinet choir. Its dynamic
range is astounding, from the lightest
whisper of tone to fortissimo. Hand
positions are natural and relaxed. Built
entirely of nickel silver, model 340 is
completely free from any changes in
tuning or response due to atmospheric
conditions.

is easy to maintain in perfect regulation,
making it ideal for school use. Model 342
may be played from a standing position
