Portraiture also pro)ides additional special e**ect presets such as EGlamourF,

speci*ic image re1uirements# In addition to the de*ault and other presets that come
prede*ined "ith Portraiture, $ou can adDust an$ o* the controls to *ine-tune $our
custom *ilter con*iguration *or the desired results# -he controls are grouped into
three *unctional sets M E6etail .moothingF, E.+in -ones 7as+F and E8nhancementsF
controls - to enable intuiti)e and e**ecti)e processing# 8ach set is eCplained in more
detail in the *ollo"ing sections#

determined b$ the threshold )alue the higher the threshold )alue, the higher

tools, a .ingle Color pic+er and a 7ultiple Color Pic+er *or de*ining the 7as+'s tone
and color range based on the s+in tones o* the image as represented b$ the pic+ed
piCel# <hen using either o* these tools, $ou can )ie" the pic+ed piCel parameters
displa$ed on the right-hand side o* the plug-in "indo" indicating "hether the
pic+ed tone is "ithin the .+in -one range#
<hen the .ingle Color Pic+er is used the mas+ range is determined b$ the single
piCel# <hen the 7ultiple Color Pic+er is used each, subse1uent pic+ed tone )alues
are combined "ith the current mas+ to produce a ne" tone range#
-he resulting mas+ range is sho"n in the .+in -one 0ange monitor on the le*t-hand
side o* the plug-in "indo"# ?ou can operate the respecti)e controls on the monitor
itsel* or the sliders underneath it in order to set the >ue, .aturation and 'uminance
o* the desired .+in -one 0ange# -he 'atitude )alue determines the "idth o* the mas+
range around the adDusted and!or pic+ed tone# In other "ords the latitude )alue
determines the sensiti)it$ o* the mas+ )is-a-)is pic+ed s+in color )alue#
