A. How today had been..
The pupils were asked to clean up their class before starting the
learning. The students were in a good mood for morning class. They
are still sleepy. Today, I introduced the new topic to them. The topic
was about Lets Eat food!. Im teaching year " with the new #$$%
syllabus. The teaching and learning process will begin with the
Listening and $peaking skills for the first day. I found the pupils lack of
understanding with the lesson contents that I teach. This is because& I
found a relati'ely slow response when I start my set induction before
mo'ing on to the step one. In my obser'ation, only a few pupils
understand with my teaching. This may also be due to the introduction
of new topic. $ome students were not paying attention from the
beginning until the end of the lesson. The situation was (uite sad, but
I)m o'ercoming them with the most appropriate ways, for me to draw
the students back into my teaching.
B. ACTIVITY / TASK I:
In this first acti'ity, I read the lyrics of the song that are in the
te*tbooks. The pupils listen carefully to e'ery word mentioned+pronounced
by me. Then, I introduced the phonemes in the lyrics& ,w+ ,- + ,'. I asked
the pupils to sound the phonemes correctly. .e*t, I randomly choose the
pupils to write on board the phonemes sounded by his+her friend. The
pupils began to make noise when I do not choose them. Then, I switched
to another way which I asked them to write the phonemes on / pieces of
papers, then I sound the phonemes and they ha'e to show the phonemes
correctly. The pupils en-oyed the learning.

$econd acti'ity was singing a song. I read again the lyrics while the
pupils listened. I said the words one by one with the correct punctuation.
Then, I asked the pupils to repeat after me.

Today)s lesson is on listening and speaking. The pupils can
understand it properly. They also en-oy singing while making actions. The
pupils gi'e good cooperation throughout the process of teaching and
learning despite they make noise in the earlier of the lesson.

The pupils understand and en-oyed the lesson. They knew what I
want to con'ey to them. I think my teaching ob-ecti'es for today
successfully achie'ed. 0upils able to sound the phonemes correctly they
also can pronounce the simple words confidently.

A. How today had been..
I was able to finish my teaching within " hour as planned. 0upils
can understand easily what I was teaching them. They repeat and
pronounce the words correctly. The pupils were 'ery e*cited to learn
especially singing the song and acti'ities with the picture cards. I was able
to capture the acti'ities with my creati'e teaching. There are some weak
pupils but they were able to follow my teaching. I asked the pupils with
some (uestions and they answered it correctly.
B. ACTIVITY / TASK I:
I continued with the pre'ious lesson. I put up the song on the
board. Then, I again read the lyrics slowly and the pupils listen. I sang the
song with good intonation and pronunciation. The pupils were asked to
sing the song and say the phonemes in the song correctly. I kept stressing
on the phonemes in the song.
C. ACTIVITY /TASK II:
In this acti'ity, I showed the picture cards and word cards to the
pupils on board. I read aloud the words to the pupils. Then, asked the
pupils to repeat after me. They did well and understand my instructions. I
asked the meaning of the words to generate pupils thinking skills. I correct
the pupils mistakes. .e*t, the pupils read aloud the words on board
indi'idually and in groups.

I -umbled up the word cards and picture cards then, asked the
pupils to match them correctly. They read again the words on board.

Today)s lesson is on reading skills. The pupils were able to
understand it properly. They ga'e good cooperation throughout the
process of teaching and learning. The lesson went on 'ery smooth. The
pupils responded 'ery well to my teaching.
