Sub : Show cause notice for refusal of CTO under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution)
Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 .

Ref: Consent application submitted online vide application No. 1109347 dt. 29-05-2014

In this connection, it is intimated that your application for CTO under the above said Act/ Rules
received in this office is incomplete / deficient due to the following :-

1. Not submitted latest analysis reports for Air emissions/ Noise level of DG sets, not filled details
under each head complete in all respects.
2. Not submitted copy of Authorized Signatory.
3. Not submitted the copy of names of Directors / Partners /MOA / Partnership Deed / Trust Deed
with address.
4. Not submitted compliance report of conditions of Refusal of previous CTO.

In view of the above, you are hereby directed to show cause within 15 days as to why your
consent application may not be rejected/ refused. In case you fail to comply with the deficiencies
mentioned above within the above mentioned stipulated period, it will be presumed that you have
nothing to say in this regard and your consent application will be refused and closure action against
the unit will be initiated under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974
& Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, as mentioned above.

This may be treated as MOST URGENT.

Sir,

We are submitting our point wise reply to the observations as under:-

1. We are submitting latest analysis reports for Noise level of DG sets, and we have filled details
under each head complete in all respects.
2. Submitted copy of Authorized Signatory.
3. Not required as the unit is a proprietorship company
4. Submitted compliance report of conditions of Refusal of previous CTO copy enclosed.

As we have applied for expansion of our project by adding phosphating and powdercoating in our
process we would like to inform you that the ETP and APCM are under installation and we have
already given an undertaking that we shall start this unit only after obtaining NOC from your
department and after proper installation of ETP and APCM.
We hope you find the same as required and request you to kindly grant us consent at an
earliest.
