meet their objectives. For exaple in 2005, HP fired its CEO, Carly Fiorina. The members of the board of
directors has a lot of secret meetings that len to her firing ourside of formal stuctural. HP company is
one of the best flat organization. Hewlett- Packard set up a model for a divisional structure of a long
creative organization . Synthetic Division into units such as inspecting organization and measuring the
organizational units dominate the core of the company.

HP is the organisation by product. The advantages are clear focus on market segment and easy to selling
products to customers. HP better control as each division can act as separate profit . The disadvantages
are duplication of functions and negative effects of competition.

effectively. The organization structure is made for purposes which can effect the performance of the
business. The performance of the company doesn't define by allocating the resources in the good ways.
Making decision which is impulsed by organizational structure is better than this one. The structure may
be make the company become better or contrary. The organization want their employees have more
limited circle and work their job individual with less diffirent ways. To do that, they should have many
level of management or leader to make sure that their work is done effectively and correctly.
Hewlett packard have the organization by product or brand, which include Imaging and printing group,
personal systems group, enterprise systems group, HP services and HP financal services. This structure
make more advantage competitive between each group, control better because every section can do
the activities like separate profit centre, focus on the diffirent market can help to satisfy the demand of
customers, managemnet concentrade in attempt selling and buying. On the other hand, organization by
product of Hewlett Packard can also have some disadvantages. The influence of bad competitive,
copying the function such as force of selling or buying for each section, also miss the control center in
each diffirent section and the high expense.
