Objectives:


To help employees relieve tension and encourage them
to relax, to encourage them to think deeply, be fun, be
serious or force them to seek out other people.




Guidelines:

A. SCHEDULE
Starting July, game/icebreaker will be held every Wednesday at around 2
AM/PM.
Teams Leads will remind their respective team on the said schedule.
The host may also remind all by email before the start of the game.

B. PRIZES
Honeylet Narrido is in-charge of the prize.
Prizes are good for 2-3 persons only.
Host that will lead a game that requires a Team effort must coordinate the plan
to Honeylet on/before Friday prior to the said schedule, hence prize items can
be adjusted for the team


C. RULES
Rule #1: Members of the Leadership Team are not part of the game if its
intended for individual. He/she may participate discreetly but revokes prize
and win ship.
Rule #2: Teams Leads and/or Sr. Accountant are involved if the game requires
Team effort.
Rule #3: The rule of the game defines whether the members of the leadership
are involved or not.

Mechanics:
1. This is open to ALL Covidien SBU employees excluding the members of the
leadership team (Supervisors, Team Leads and Sr. Accountants).
2. Two teams with 2 players each will play for day-shift and another two teams
for night-shift.
3. The leadership team does the pairing in random order thru pick a name in the
box and the pairs will play at the set schedule.
4. For each pair, 1 player will guess the word(s) and the other player will
respond by saying only: Yes, No, Maybe, Oo, Hindi or Pwede.
5. The word or words to be guessed will be picked randomly from the box.
6. Each pair will strategize who will guess the word(s) and who will respond the
yes, no or maybe.
7. If 1 player is absent, the remaining player will select among the members of
the leadership team to be his/her partner. In this case, that member selected
will not be a guesser of the word(s). He/she will only respond, yes, no or
maybe.
8. Each pair is allowed to play and guess the word(s) for 2 minutes.
9. If the player who will respond to the guesser says other than yes, no, maybe,
oo, hindi or pwede, the team will be penalized by adding 5 seconds making
their allowable time shorter.
10. The pair who guess the word(s) correctly in a shorter time will be declared as
winners.
11. If no team correctly answers the word(s) for the first round, both teams will
play again for another round. But if no team correctly answers the word(s) for
third round, no one will be declared as winner.
12. The winning team will get a prize and will play for the grand finals.
13. The game will be held in the conference room for 15-20 minutes at any time
during 1:00 PM to 3:00 for day shift and 1:00 AM to 3:00 AM for night shift.
14. To resolve the split of work schedule of winning partners who previously work
on the same shift, we will have the ice breaker finals during the monthly
Town Hall Meeting.

Mechanics:


An email blast will be sent to employee excluding leadership team to
answer some riddles. The first who will get the answer will win the prize.

Attached is the spreadsheet containing some easy riddles. All you need to do
is to answer it correctly and send it back to win a cash prize from Ms
Honeylet. Oppss.. another thing, the worksheet is password protected. You
need to know the password to open the sheet


Password clue: the month and year of Natal Day of Ms.
Honeylet Narrido (sample format: January 1978)
