GRACE NEWS
SANCTUARY SEATING
Our church board has studied, prayed, and voted to replace our
current seating with luxury sanctuary chairs. By doing this, we go from
seating 300 people in our sanctuary to a capacity of 400 people! Prayerfully
consider providing a chair for your entire family, even those who may not
yet attend Grace! The total amount needed for these seats will be
$20,000! That means each chair is $50...pledge sheets are available at the
Connections Center for you to make a commitment to make Grace's
sanctuary more attractive and comfortable for worshiping the Lord!
VOTE YES ON 1
Election Day is Tuesday! Please be sure to vote and be informed on all the
issues. The East Tennessee District Assembly adopted a resolution that
encourages members of the Church of the Nazarene to vote YES on
Amendment 1. This amendment will help reduce the number of abortions
that are performed in Tennessee. Visit www.yeson1.org for more
information.
MAKING A MARRIAGE
Beginning today, Pastor and Halisha are leading an informal six week
discussion on "Making a Marriage" with our Journey Life Group in
Family Life Center Room 101. This time is designed for pre-married,
newlyweds, and long time marriages. The group will meet at 9:45am each
Sunday for the next six weeks! Bring a friend and let's strengthen our
relationships centered on Christ! Contact the church office for more
information.
FAITH PROMISE SUNDAY
Next Sunday, November 9, Grace Church renews our commitment to
global missions by raising financial support for our 700+ missionaries in
160+ world areas. Promise cards are available at the Connections Center
as we prayerfully consider our part in world evangelism!
BABY SHOWER
The church family is invited to a baby shower for Angie and Pastor Justin
Wells, Saturday, November 8 from 1pm-3pm in the Fireside Room. Baby
gift registries are at Babies R Us and Target.
BOARD MEETING
Our church board will have its monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 11,
at 7PM!
