4. Progress Monitoring of Reading Goals
1. The DIBELS Goals will be monitored throughout the school year via DIBELS
Progress Monitoring. Intensive and Strategic students will be progress monitored
once a week. This data will be placed into DIBELS.net.

2. The Read Well Kindergarten goal will be monitored throughout the school year via
Unit Tests (Units 1, 2, 3, 4).

Progress Monitoring of Math Goals
1. This will be measured by trimester assessments within the Bridges curriculum.
Evidence/data will be collected with the use of informal observation during work places
and number corner activities. Data will be reviewed and discussed. Student progress will
be monitored and instruction will be adjusted according to student need.

5. Reasonableness of Goals
Both goals are reasonable and can be accomplished. Each one begins with baseline
information and has been created with the end in mind. Furthermore, formative and
summative assessments will guide my instruction and provide ongoing assessment data to
create targeted, small group instruction.

In addition, our PLC meets monthly to determine the needs of our students and provide
interventions/enrichments as determined by ongoing data. Currently, our grade level has
two Intervention Groups working with math skills and first sound fluency. We also have
Enrichment Groups comprehension strategies and phoneme segmentation/nonsense word
fluency.

6. Alignment with District and Building Expectations
Both of my Reading Goals align with our District and Building expectations. The goals were
developed and will be progress monitored around our Four Key Questions regarding RTI:
What do we want kids to learn?
How do we know they have learn it?
What are we going to do when they dont?
What are we going to do when they already get it?

In addition, our PLC Team is meeting once a month (second Monday of the month) to
analyze data, create intervention/enrichment groups, monitor student progress and share
students and various instructional strategies. Notes are taken at our meetings and
submitted to Susan who includes them as part of our building improvement plan (CSIP).

7. Engaging with Students and Families
In October, data was shared with my students and they created a Reading and Math Goal.
Student goals will be shared with families during Fall Conferences.

Progress towards each students goals will be monitored five times a year in coordination
with our RTI Meetings (October, December, February, March and May).
