Echo Test

OBJECTIVE: To look at the effects that the Musicians use in their music.
EQUIPMENT USED: D.S.P Board, and Microphone
PROCEDURE: Step 1- Start VAB and open the Echo. ST. !n the P." mode
Step #- "lick the run $utton and talk into the microphone and it should look like fi%ure 1.

fades out.

RESULTS: m' results (ere (hen ! mo)ed the %ain slider to .4 it took ; seconds to
completel' disappear. Then (hen ! mo)ed the %ain slider to .7 it took ## seconds to
completel' disappear. ! mo)ed the %ain slider to 1 it took .6 seconds to completel'
disappear. &hen ! mo)ed the %ain slider to 1.1 it took .4 seconds to completel'
disappear.
DISCUSSION: ! had fun doin% this la$ and ! noticed that (hen it echoed it did it a$out
0-; times then it disappeared $ut the more ! slid the slider do(n the lon%er it echoed.
Then (hen ! (as doin% re)er$ (orksheet and ! noticed that the sound that comes out of
the speaker is dela'ed for a$out a 1-# seconds.
CONCLUSION: The la$ (as fun and some (hat inspirin%, $ecause this %a)e me a
different look at producin% music $ecause these are some of the tools that musicians to
da' use
