models of environmental decision making in recent times. Evaluate the
statement and also briefly account for the Indian legal framework with
regard to public hearing or consultation.
2. Explain the concept of Environment Impact Assessment and the new
legal regime introduced in India with regard to it.
3. Bhopal (gas leak) disaster alarmed in many ways, the immediate need
for better environmental management elucidate, specially focusing
upon the reforms in law brought in India post Bhopal.
4. Explain the common law remedies available for redress of environmental
protection in general.
5. What are the alternative approaches to control pollution in India?
6. Describe the role of judiciary in combating pollution problems along with
decisional law on the point.
