Adult Services Newsletter
Celebrate the Season with us!
Clients, Emmaus staff and administration, friends, family,
neighbors, volunteers, and ALL friends of Emmaus are invited to
get into the Christmas spirit at our annual Christmas Pageant on
December 7th at 4:00p.m. Location is the DDRB Community Room
located at 1025 Country Club Rd 63303. Come to our annual
Breakfast with Santa at St. Johns UCC. Join the photography club
for an afternoon of picture taking. Attend the Christmas play
Miracle on 34th street and the Winter Wonderland on Ice. Join us
for Cookie Day. We will be making and baking cookies, lunching
together with a bagged lunch brought from home and then decorating cookies and a cookie Jar. Every home will bring home a
cookie jar full of cookies. Make homemade Christmas cards and
lots of holiday decorations. Take a trip to Union Station to see the
holiday dcor and lunch there. Come to the Christmas party at
SAS. Join us for outings to the Art Museum and Science Center.
View the Christmas lights with us. Start out the New Year right
making New Years Eve appetizers and decorations and attending
our New Years Eve Party on the 31st.

night of every month. Bring your photos or other momentos and use the provided tools to create scrapbook pages
or make Christmas cards.

12/5 Movie We are watching the classic Miracle on 34th
street.
12/5 Birthday Party -Celebrate the December Birthdays
with a St. Louis Blues themed Birthday party. Go Blues!
12/6 Pageant Rehearsal- Pack a sack lunch and come to
DDRB, 1025 Country Club Rd 63303, for a day of Christmas Pageant Preparation. We are going to practice practice practice our Pageant and be ready to perform it for
guests the very next day on Sunday 12/7, at the same location. We are having T-shirts screen printed for the Participants and they will be charged 4.00 to help offset the
cost of the t-shirts. This year the pageant is incorporating
the nativity story as well as the more commercial aspects
of Christmas such as Santa. You are expected to participate in rehearsal day to be in the pageant on Sunday.
12/7 Christmas Pageant- Clients, Emmaus staff and administration, friends, family, neighbors, volunteers, and
ALL friends of Emmaus are invited to get into the Christmas spirit at our annual Christmas Pageant. Location is
the DDRB Community Room located at 1025 Country Club
Rd 63303. Pageant Participants should arrive half an hour
early. After the program we will enjoy light refreshments.
