Description:

During sample aspiration, specified amount of sample

cannot be aspirated.
Purpose:
To ensure the amount of sample aspiration.
Method:
Before RBC sample dispensing, top end discard portion
of aspirated whole blood sample is dispensed into RBC/
HGB Chamber to dilute, and then charged into Blood
Aspiration Sensor to convert (detect) turbidity (value of
Sample Convert 1 of Blood Aspiration Sensor).

XSs Action:
Status: Ready Data Mask: Yes
Sampler Operation:
Depends on the setting of sampler stop condition.
Alarm Sound: Yes (only sampler analysis stop setting)
Action Message: Execute Shutdown and Restart to clean piercer.
Cause:

Sample Not Asp Error

Description:

Accuracy of analysis data can not be assured, as bubble

might get into due to sample shortage during WB
aspiration.
Purpose:
During WB aspiration, system checks if the top end
discard portion in the tip of piercer (pipette) is filled with
whole blood and sufficient blood volume (20L) is
secured.
Method:
After WBC sample draining, dilute tail end discard
portion and convert (detect) the turbidity with Aspiration
Sensor (value of Sample Convert 2 of Blood Aspiration
Sensor).
Compare this value with the value of blank convert to
check the difference.
If the difference between Sample Convert 2 value and
Blank Convert value is below 1700, it is considered as
an error. However, during blank checking and capillary
mode, the values are not monitored.
XSs Action:
Status: Ready
Data Mask: Yes
Sampler Operation: Follows the setting of sampler stop
condition.
Alarm Sound: Yes (only sampler analysis stop setting)
Action Message: Execute Shutdown and Restart to clean piercer.
Cause:
1) Bubble exists in Blood Aspiration Sensor Line.
2) Defect in Blood Aspiration Sensor.
