Star Families:
Pass the word about the Navy Gold
Star Program.
If you see a Gold Star pin worn by a
Gold Star Family member on or off base,
greet the family member, thank them,
bless them, honor them.
If you have an opportunity to engage
a Gold Star Family member in conversation, let them share their story with
you.
Use their fallen service members
name. You esteem them.
Withness is important! Compassion
and an appropriate hug are also significant!
This year marks the genesis of greater
personal care for surviving Navy Gold
Star Family members. The memory of
their heroic fallen service member will be
honored and so will they. They are not
alone, and theyre never forgotten!
