Ghost Captured by BBC Cameraman

Chris Sandys, a BBC photographer, was taking pictures as he covered a story on


the Edward Jenner Museum in Berkeley, Gloucestershire. He was amazed to
find he photoed a ghostly apparition of someone sitting in a chair.

Edward Jenner was the mastermind behind a vaccination for small pox and was
in the forefront of immunology 1823. Sandys was taking a panoramic photograph
of the attic in the museum when he found the ghostly image on his camera.

"You can see through a doorway what looks like a figure reclining in a chair, only
there is no chair there. Who knows whether it is Jenner himself? There have
been stories of ghosts at the Edward Jenner Museum.” said Sarah Parker,
museum director.

A man in Taiwan identified only as Mr. Lee has been indicted on charges of
causing bodily harm to another person after stabbing a former friend following the
discovery of his friend and his wife having sexual relations on a DVD he bought.

The DVD titled, “Affairs with Others' Wives”, was purchased back in 2002. In
2008 Mr Lee spotted his friend who starred in the DVD alongside his now former
wife and stabbed him in the thigh.

The dispute between the two men was not resolved out of court despite
prosecutors advice, leaving Mr Lee facing six months in prison or a fine.
Mexico Schools Reopening After Flu
Outbreak

Schools across Mexico have been scrubbed clean and disinfected and are
reopening for business today following the outbreak in the country of swine flu,
which has sent panic waves across the globe.

Some states are not reopening, however, citing a rise in flu cases in those
regions, and a seventh state has delayed opening its schools by a day.
Education officials did say that children showing flu symptoms would be turned
away.

Swine flu has spread to 29 countries and killed 53 people. 48 of those fatalities
happened in Mexico. The United States has become the country with the most
confirmed cases, 2,532 people have contracted the virus across 44 states.

Woman Uses Her Child To Block


Taser

In northeast Missouri a 20-year-old woman used her 1-year-old child to protect a


man from tasering him by police. Police officers were on response to a call on
assault claim made by the woman.

The man confronted them, threatened the officers. When the man aproached
them then a police officer wanted to Taser him but the woman put her child
between the Taser and the man.

For it the mom was arrested and jailed, the man also faces charges.
