DTCC's cross asset Global Trade Repository (GTR) will provide the industry with a
central point of communication and storage for reporting Security Based Swaps
(SBS) for all Credit, Equity, Rates, Commodities and FX Derivatives. The Trade
Repository will accept all trades globally from all swap trading entities (or their
agents) even if not reportable as per Dodd-Frank rules.
Responsibilities

Background
The objective of the Tactical Reporting project (Phase I) is to provision the
Regulators/Participants with the Warehouse Reporting Web GUI access for viewing
the existing public reports, and new regulator reports and ad-hoc reports to be
developed in the subsequent phases. This involves setting up the Regulator
accounts; include some additional fields for the Participant profile and setting up
the relationship between Participant and Regulator Accounts in DSO application.
In subsequent phases, this DSO Setup will be used to control the Web GUI front
end access and permissions to view the reports. The Phase 2 of the project will
focus upon the Reporting Web GUI/Portal for Regulators to access the reports and
to provide a provision for operations to validate and to make necessary
modifications, prior to releasing the reports on GUI for regulators. In Phase-3,
new regulator types are introduced and there are multiple reports which will be
available for the regulators on the web portal. These reports are in addition to the
public reports which have already been provided to the regulators on Portal in
Phase-2. The availability of these reports on the web portal for a regulator will
depend upon the type of report and the type of regulator viewing the reports.
