Analyzer Update

1 In this version
This release contains support for new and updated file formats. There are updates for most
technologies that Actix supports, with changes falling under the following categories:

New collection devices supported:

Added support for 17.1.3 version in JDSU file format.

Added support for 4.74 version in Rohde & Schwarz file format.

Added support for Samsung Note 2 in Accuver XCAL file format.

Added support for LTE R&S Scanner (TSMW model) in TEMS file
format.

Added support for ZTE N0980, Samsung SIII (I9305) and Samsung
S4 in Ding Li file format.

Added support for Anritsu Scanner in Rising file format.

Application layer improvements:

Platform improvements:

Fixed a number of defects in the Chart.

Added a link to the Map for Microsofts print rights terms for Bing
Map.

Fixed a problem where the Ribbon would sometimes not update the
list of pre-packaged reports when a new log file was loaded.

Documentation:

Fixed an issue with the Auto Load feature in Spotlight.

There are some changes to the help and the released pdf
documents. See the Documentation section for more information.

2 New collection device or technology support

2.1 Accuver support

In VoLTE, added support for Samsung Note 2.

An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from decoding Accuver
(XCAL 3.2.17.249) LTE Scanner logfiles.

2.2 Anritsu support

An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from loading specific
W-Quest logfiles.

2.3 Ascom TEMS support

Added support for LTE R&S Scanner (TSMW model) in TEMS logfiles.
A problem has been resolved with the decoding of the Task Server URL
in Ping Start and Email Send Start events.
A problem has been resolved with the decoding of web browsing
tasks, which were previously incorrectly reported as HTTP Download
tasks.

2.4 Azenqos support

An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from correctly setting
Latitude and Longitude.
An issue has been fixed where Analyzer did not set the attributes:

Uu_DetectedSet_EcNo

Uu_DetectedSet_RSCP

Added support for the 1st,2nd and 3rd best value of Ec/Io and RSCP
calculated as instantaneous values.

2.5 Ding Li support

Added support for new devices: Samsung SIII (I9305), Samsung S4,
and ZTE N0980.
Added support for new Data Testing attributes in Ding Li tools.

2.6 Ericsson CT support

Added support for Ericsson LTE Call Trace L13A version.

2.7 Huawei Probe support

A problem has been resolved that prevented Analyzer from setting some
Data Testing attributes, which in turn had an undesired side effect on
Data Service Analysis and LTE Cluster Acceptance Spotlight reports.
An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to generate uncorrelated
values of FTP throughputs in two different reports:

2.8 JDSU support

Added support for JDSU 17.1.3 version.

An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from correctly decoding
SMS and PING task information in JDSU logfiles.
An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from correctly decoding
timing advance information in JDSU logfiles.

2.9 Meritech (Sigma-ML) support

An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from displaying

correlated GPS data when loading Sigma ML (.csv) logfiles.
An issue has been fixed where Meritech support did not work in
upgraded Analyzer installs.

2.10 Nemo support

Added new attributes for the Carrier to Adjacent channel ratio

between the centre channel and the strongest adjacent channel.

2.11 Qualcomm support

Added support for CDMA in QMDL logfiles.

Added support for QChat in EVDO logfiles.

In LTE TDD, the following new attribute is now set:

Added improvements in the calculation of the DL BLER and throughput

attributes. The following attributes are involved:

New versions of the messages B179 and B16C are now supported.

2.12 Rising support

Added support for R&S 4.74 version.

2.14 Swissqual support

In DC-HSDPA, the following new attributes are now set:

3 Application layer improvements

3.1 Spotlight

An issue has been resolved that prevented Analyzer from loading a

folder using the Auto Load feature.

4 Platform improvements
4.1 Chart

An issue has been resolved that prevented Analyzer from changing the
property settings Visible for Outline in the Series tab in
Preferences.
An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to crash if the user clicks
on the CDF/PDF icon on the Chart toolbar when displaying a Histogram
query.
An issue has been resolved that prevented Analyzer from populating the
Chart correctly regional settings had the decimal separator set to
comma.

4.2 Delta Plots

Fixed an issue where new log files could not be loaded.

4.3 Map

Added a link to the Background Map Layer dialog box for Microsofts
print rights terms for Bing Map.

4.4 Reporting

Fixed a problem where the Ribbon would sometimes not update the list
of pre-packaged reports when a new log file was loaded.

4.5 Repository Stats Explorer

Fixed an issue where the Ribbon button for Repository Stats Explorer
would always be disabled, whether a Repository was selected or not.

4.6 Stateform Editor

An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to return an unexpected

error when the user attempts to add new attributes in a new stateform.

Several help files have been updated in this release.

There is a new version of the Software Installation Guide.

There is a new version of the Getting Started Guide.
