Changing Paradigms

I will start by saying that Changing Paradigms video has a really great moral value.After watching this video,I
can say that I made up my mind concerning what education it is.Moreover,I think that Sir Ken Robinson`s speech is
thought-provoking and fantastic.
Sir Ken Robinson is an English author,speaker and international advisor on education in the arts to
government,non-profits,education and arts bodies.If I should use a word to discribe him after hearding his speech,it
would use the term amazing.His personality,his attitude and his jokes are awsome.Ken Robinson talks about one of the
main problems of the world:education. He emphisez that education isn`t the same without creativity. He handles so
good this subject that even a 4 years old child would understand what he want to say. He uses the right words to keep it
simple to everybody.
During Changing Paradigms video,Ken Robinson speaks about how we can educate children in order to
provide them a place in the economy .He says that the current system education was designed and conceived for a
different period of time.Precisly,it was designed for the age of enlightement and for the industrial revolution.Our
current system education is perfect for past.Most of the nowadays students think that education doesnt guarantee a
job anymore.
The main problem that should concern us is the art.The arts are victims of today`s mentality.When we talk about
arts,we talk about aesthetic experience.Ken Robinsons considers that if we have aesthetic experience we are fully
alive.On the other hand,if we don`t owned it,we deaden ourself to what is happening. A major component in the
process of creativity is the divergent thinking . Unfortunately,nowadays people do not dispose of it too much. Sir Ken
sustains that children are too stifled by all kinds of like computers,iphones,video games and so on.That`s why they
aren`t let to create.
In conclusion,I fully agree with Sir Ken Robinson.The education must be transformed immediately in
coordination with today student`s needs.Also,teachers should invest more time in creativity.The government should
increase the numbers of practical and art courses in order to develop the creativity.Without it,we have our senses shut
off and no one diserves that.
