Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (5 U.S.C. 552), the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco
Firearms and Explosives is requested to the following within twenty (20) business days. It is believed that
part of this request will be found in ATF System of Records - Technical and Scientific Services Record
System Justice/ATF009. It is unknown to this Requester where electronic mail, correspondence, and
other documents and/or memoranda requested are stored.
Please provide the following information:
1) Please provide any documents, reports, or other memoranda that relate to the number of
machine guns made on a Form 1 (5320.1) after May 19, 1986 by a person that is not a
transfer to or by, or possession by or under the authority of, the United States or any
department or agency thereof or a State, or a department, agency, or political subdivision
thereof;
2) Please provide a properly redacted copy of each Form 1 (5320.1) approved after May 19, 1986
by a person that is not a transfer to or by, or possession by or under the authority of, the
United States or any department or agency thereof or a State, or a department, agency, or
political subdivision thereof;
3) Please provide any documents, reports, or other memoranda that relate to the number of
machine guns transferred on a Form 4 (5320.4) made after May 19, 1986 to a person that
is not a transfer to or by, or possession by or under the authority of, the United States or
any department or agency thereof or a State, or a department, agency, or political
subdivision thereof;
4) Please provide a properly redacted copy of each Form 4 (5320.4) approved after May 19, 1986
by a person that is not a transfer to or by, or possession by or under the authority of, the
United States or any department or agency thereof or a State, or a department, agency, or
political subdivision thereof;
5) Please provide all correspondence, memoranda, documents, reports, records, statements,
notes, opinions, folders, files, pamphlets, forms, charts, electronic mail, and other documents
and things that refer of relate to the above list in any way; and

Please provide a copy of any meeting minutes, memoranda, documents, reports, records,
statements, notes, opinions, folders, files, forms, electronic mail and other documents and
things relating to a meeting held on or about September 12, 2014 discussing new policies for
Form 1 machine guns.

The Category of Requester is All Other Requesters and because this is a matter of great public
interest; I request that the fee is waived. If the fee is not waived, I will pay up to $100 for this request.
Should the fee for this request exceed $100, please let me know in advance. I look forward to receiving
the requested documents and a full fee waiver within twenty business days.
