Roles & Responsibilities:
- Drive the business and people strategy by identifying issues and trends, and initiating projects
across the full spectrum of HR activity; measure success and value to the business.
- Oversee the design and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Implement people strategies that support the business in attracting, selecting and retaining an
appropriate quality of staff across all business operations
- Administer compensation programs for all levels of employees in all business units
- Assist in the development and support of employee surveys and action plan activities to
increase employee morale and satisfaction
- The individual is expected to monitor daily HR operations of the company and should be able
to resolve day-to-day issues using well-defined or at times generally defined processes.
- Create the environment which fosters employee involvement and diversity
Desired Skills and Experience
Desired Profile:
- 12-15 years of progressive experience in human resources, employee relations and leadership
development
- MBA/PGDM in HR from Premier Institutes(XLRI/ TISS/ SIBM/ SCMHRD/ IMT/ MDI etc.,)
- Candidates from BE/B.Tech background preferred
- Experience working in IT/Hi-Tech organisations preferred
- Must have managed an employee strength of at least 400 resources
- Experience of handling resources across multiple locations is preferred
- Must have the aptitude to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven start up organization
- Must be a hands on individual, and must be comfortable working in a organization with a flat
structure
- Must be able to relate to the business, and shouldnt be purely function focused
- Must be able to effectively retain employees, by finding newer and innovative ways of
engaging employees; and must be able to groom employees to be potential leaders of tomorrow
through succession planning.

PURPOSE To coordinate all HR activities within the organization
REPORTS TO Managing Director
REPORTED BY Manager-HR
Responsible for senior level decision making and both day to day management and strategic
direction of the organization.
Develop and implement an annual agenda for HR strategy in line with the business plan.
Manage HR costs to HR budget.
Ensure all staff receives appraisals in accordance with company policy.
Co-ordinate recruitment throughout the company through management of a recruitment
team/HR team. Interview senior hires when necessary.
Provide day to day advice to line managers on all human resource issues like
management of staff, remuneration etc.
Maintain a succession plan for all departments.
Ensure payroll is completed accurately and to deadline.
Review all staff salaries and make recommendations for pay rises in consultation with
dept heads. Implement any increases and promotions.
Conduct training needs analysis and designs and implement a training plan with inputs
from Manager-T&D.
Deal with any performance or grievance issues within the organization.
