Executive Summary
Nano Virus is 3D RPG Action, adventure game set in a future world of the year 20XX in a
futuristic city of Fortunia. The tone of the game is a dark setting where it goes from a dark twisted feeling
to a sort of uplifting feeling when you have succeeded from saving an innocent person from the clutches
of a Corruptus.
Ethan Saber a kid that has been absorbed by the Nano-bots that gives him this suit of pure metal
made from nano-bots while giving him very unique abilities that will help him in the search of his fathers
killer a man named Viper. A very well-known scientist that was respected among the world of scientist
but soon he hears a new scientist has discovered new things about Nano-bots to help the betterment of
humanity and Viper wants to take his project, while creating it into something more chaotic and
destructive he heads towards the company in a furious rage and jealously. He goes to Ethans father job to
steal the newly created Nano-bots that can take down metals and make them into newer and better objects
for the users expense. As soon as he acquired what he wanted, he decides to kill the creator (Ethans
father) seeing this brought a shock to his mentality at the same time Viper drops the container onto Ethan
thus creating a new hero to stop Viper and his newly improved corrupted nano bots from taking over the
city or the world.

GENRE/ MAIN GOAL

Nano-Virus is an action RPG like genre, when going more about in the game your
powers are specified for good or evil both sides have equally good powers and
thats how your Nanos go by giving you separate powers and how they work
against your enemies.

The Main Goal: of this Green light Jam is to have at least 1 level created if
possible have two done and some decent concept art.

Background
In the year of 20XX Tech Era, A boy name Ethan Saber age 21 a tech genius
with top grades in school but he doesnt show his true colors much only amongst
his friends. Ethan was a nice kid tall 59 and wears glasses but he sometimes
hardly wears them he always helped everyone with computer like problems and
fixing tons of things that happen around the school. No one really treats him any
different because he father is an important person throughout the city and is a
genius amongst the other scientist creating these robots. His father works at
Cryotech he is the CEO of the company as he wants his son to be the next one in
line but for some reason today was different and something very interesting was
going to happen to Ethan that might change his life.
The next day Ethan came to the company for something his father asked to
see the prototype of the nanobots that could be very successful as he was coming to
the lab to see the experiment on Nano-bots from what he remembers about what
they do. These Nano-bots are specially made for taking in metal and re-creating
metal into other things such as weapons, materialistic items, and among other
things that can be used to help other people in the world of today help them in their
time of need. Ethan came to his fathers presentation and wondered if this will go
well it seems to be going well until a loud explosion happened and sparks were
coming from the door until it fell down as hundreds of soldiers came into the room

wearing these weird outfits and tubs coming out of their mask. Ethan did not know
what was going on but they were coming at his father as he took any weapon he
could find luckily he had his laser blade on him as he cuts in front of them a man
came up in front of the soldiers.
A man named Viper came saying he wants those plans to have the nanobots
and create them to take control of the worlds metals to create a destructive force
so that no one can stop him and for that he wants to destroy Ethans father and
burn the plans. Ethan tried to stop him he took out some soldiers but failed as there
were too many of them and Viper took his father and the jar of the nanobots Ethan
got up to go after them as he tried to stop him the jar of nanobots hit Ethan on his
jacket soon started to crawl on his metal-fiber jacket.
Viper was already on a helicopter while flying up into the air looks down at
Ethan and with angry look then with a much unheard sound that made Ethan have
a horrifying chill down his body seeing his father fall out of the helicopter with a
bullet shot through his heart. Seeing his father fall to the ground and was dying
slowly from the gun wound by the time Ethan was going to go over to help him his
feet were planted to the ground and his hands were changing to metallic color so
was the rest of his body screaming for his dad and to help him before his father
died he told Ethan something that he could never understand but he took his
fathers true objective which was to give Ethan the nanobots. To help save the

world and to stop Viper since he has the plans to these nanobots that can make an
army of a destructive force and for his final breath he activated the nanobots with
one word zero. Thats when Ethan felt the nanobots absorb into his body and as
his body was changing into a protective armor plating giving him the power to
manipulate metal.
He ran to his father and he weeping for his now dead father while that was
going on the armor completion process completes seeing this black armor with
sharp tips on his fingers like claws then a sudden bright light was shining down on
him as he started running from the sudden NFA scientist and agents now wanting
those nanobots and to remove that armor off of him. While Ethan was running a
voice was talking to Ethan in his mind telling him we are one we are Ark we are
here to help Ethan Saber. As Ethan was still in a sad mood from his fathers
death but he asked them to see who are they and why but they answered saying
because your father designed us to protect you from harm if this should happen
now activating Metal manipulation abilities from running down the alleyways he
stopped in one area as all of the agents surrounded him and a gigantic mech-solider
was coming on its way.

Ethan felt a sharp pain until his arm puts his hand on the trash can and it
starts melding with his left arm and a sword like blade appeared and changed into a
sword like boomerang as they all were aiming their guns at him as he swung his
sword making them all blast backwards from the air cut swing. As the sharp pain
died down Ethan was shocked about these nanobots until a mech-solider came
before him as Ethan looked at it and stood in front of it Thats it I hate all of you
the ones who caused all of this and you are just a stepping stone that are in my way
.

The sword boomerang disappeared back in to the armor as he jumped up to

it as it didnt have another chance to move as it was getting corrupted and missing
its guns and missile launchers from the weapons fused into an electric explosive
rifle DIE!! from a quick line of sight and a flash the mech was destroyed and
gone by the time the reinforcements came Ethan was gone from sight but far away.
Ethan was back to normal except his left arm which was still claw form I will find
viper dad and I will stop him no matter what and I will avenge you no matter what
as he goes into the crowd of people the lucky thing was none of them now about
him and where he lived also who is friends were. While heading to his friends
house he saw on the news about his father.

Story Outline
Story
The Story tells a futuristic tale about a boy changing into a hero for his city and who knows the world.
The boys name is Ethan Saber a student genius that many people respect because of his father that
created this enormous city filled with technology to help the human race live out their days with more
of ease. Until a man named Viper was jealous of his father and killed him but dropped the secret version
of nano-bots his father was creating onto Ethan thus creating him into something that has power to
seek revenge on his father and to stop him from taking over the city or worse. Over the course of the
story, Ethan will be fighting enemies, learning the history behind Viper and how he turned out to be a
crazy made man.
Outline
1) Introduction
a. Opening Cut Scene: Introducing the characters and the story plot Stopping Viper and his
Corruptus.
b. Tutorial Trials: Once Ethan has gained his Nano Suit/Powers a video his father left behind for
him will open up a path way to learning about how to control the suit, to turn it off and on,
learning the basic controls, followed by upgrading the suits weaponry over the course of the
adventure to getting the suit completed.

Plot Points

Ethans Father is dead and given the powers of the Nano-bots

Ethan has been given the powers of the Nano-bots to seek revenge on Viper or save everyone in
the city of Fotunia.
Ethan is gathering the certain Nanobots to help him gain the full power of the suit.
Ethan moves onto towards the Corruptus underground city.
Ethan has accepted his fathers death and gains full power of (Paragon/ Renegade).
Ethan fights the now corrupted/Fused Viper to end this nightmare.

Game Mechanics

Types of Items
Red packs: Recover health and stagger from running across the cities and buildings getting away
from enemies when your health is getting to low you are allowed to use some of the money you
already have to let this item give you more health.
Black Oil energy: gives all the nanobots to give him color camouflage and blend into the
darkness to get away from his enemies. To also give him a little bit of a speed boost and to use to
get out of grips from Giant robotic solders giving you a little bit of an advantage.
Liquid nitrogen (rare): a very explosive item that can take a whole city area if you wanted to but
this item is only accessible if you are evil enough to use it.
Liquid Metal: Use this item to reflect certain attacks back at the enemy to start a counter attack to
them.

TYPES OF NANO-BOTS:
Nano-bots: In some places of the game there with be left over Nano-bots
made from Vipers gang of soldiers so you have the option to absorb them into your
armor to add more plating and/or convert them into more power
A- Nano-bot: Attack Nano-bot in some cases Nano-bots have a mind of their
own so they start making and copying more of themselves like red cells in a
way they will create their own type of body so you must destroy the random
type of an enemy and once destroyed it you can absorb them for new
abilities.
Abilities: Gain more health, Absorbing glass, making weapons out of any
metals ((last Nano)) and auto-camouflage in most areas
B- Camouflage Nano-bots: They are all around the city in unknown spots and
once you gain a certain number of nanos at level 10 you will be able to
sense when a cameo Nano is nearby.
Duration 40sec
C- Black Nano is a dangerous thing to the suit and can also make a player go
into a rage mode which will make you increase your evil side of the
spectrum. Ethan will fine that these can take control of whoever they wish
unless Ethan can cure them or absorb the power into him.

Types of Enemies
Nano-Corrupted: People that have been eaten up by the evil Nano-bot
viruses made by Viper corrupting the people entirely. The virus Viper created need
a human host and integrate them into corrupts. These Nano-Corrupted are a very
vicious looking beast to describe them better they are black all over with a red
visor on their faces with very sharp shark like teeth with claws that can cut through
metal like knife cutting butter. Behind that is incredible inhuman strength. When
the human is being absorbed they are given the though and feelings of rage and
destruction must kill everything in sight the only way they can be fully cured is by
you and only you.
Nano-Corrupted Abilities
Claw attacks, creating clones 1-2, throwing black spears and spew out an acid
Claw attacks: Slashing attacks while running at the main character making air slash
attacks.
Clone creation: If the Nano-corrupted people get close to death they will create one
or two clones and try to regain health.
Throwing Black spears: Taking a black spear out of their body to create a long
spear
Spew Acid: Nano-corrupted will spew at this metal eating acid they will take a lot
of damage from Ethans Armor making Ethan weaker.

Corrupt Viruses: Humans that have been corrupted too long and almost
fused with the corrupted virus Nanos seeing one of these you only have one option
is to destroy them as they will be fully free once you do hero points or you absorb
them to give yourself evil points. They are also like the Nano-corrupted people
except more of a special case as they are more violent and deadly as the humanity
side of the person is nearly gone but still there you need to get them to a point to
stun them and attack while absorbing their Nano-bots from them to cure that
person completely. To gain anew rage ability from them also to give you another
health bar from these specialized Nano-bots these enemies are very rare but they
will appear if you stay in rage mode to long.
Here are the Enemies Abilities.
Abilities: Gun arms, Absorb, self-destruct and flamethrower
Gun arms: The Corrupted Viruses are very distance focused, they attack with intent
to kill and destroy their enemy making their arms into mini guns firing over 1,000
bullets per second.
Absorb: When the corrupted Virus feels like its getting low health it will absorb
the next human being near it or will go out and find one to absorb into itself

Self-destruct: Getting it angrier will also cause a time limit for the humans inside
of it so it will try to take them with it, if you do not stop the Corrupted Virus until
then the humans will die slowly until burst in huge flames then you gain evil points.
Flamethrower: The corrupted Viruss second weapon is its flamethrower as people
though something like that might not be able to reach them but this flamethrower
can with its destructive force and how it reaches like a long arm.
Fully Infected Virus/Red Nano-bot: These are fully grown and adult virus there
is no point to try to save them as they are now fully fused in with the virus and they
have a mind to kill and destroy. Do not absorb or you will die instantly since they
take over other Nano-bots and they will try to absorb you into them and the fact
that these nanos will try to take over your body and self-destruct. These Nano-bots
eat up anything in their path later in the game they will have the power to have
their own intelligence to try to take over more than just one human host.
Abilities: Multi absorb, 5 10 clones, Flamethrower arms, Spews Gasoline,
Poisonous flesh eating acid
Multi absorb: Absorbs more than just 2 people to gain more health and regenerates
itself with the life force of humans that are left inside of it.

Clones: When you first see this monster it will send out human corrupted viruses
that are not alive they are basically minions that want flesh and metal so you have
to dodge their grabs or they will try to eat your weapons or armor.
Flamethrower arms: Instead of the Corrupted Virus with its mini gun arms the fully
corrupted Virus has flamethrower arms that will burn across the lands and the
whole area that you are in unless you distract it.
Spews Gasoline: Its secondary fire is throwing up Gasoline on you then uses its
flame throw arms to burn you and set you a flame.
Poisonous flesh eating acid: After you are still recovering from the flames and
burns it will uses its Poisonous flesh eating acid on you to finish the job and have
your body decompose and fall apart.

NFA AGENT TYPES:

Level 20 Armored NFA Warriors
They give off a deadly glow dressed in a high dense armor in black, much harder
than normal steel they have weapons coated with a EMP liquid coating also their
helmets are the shape of a regular knights helmet just a lot darker and with a red
visor that covers the front face part of the helmet with a white cross emblem on the
front and back of the armor shell. A secret society of agents hidden from the rest of

the world soon finding out about the experiment of Ethans fathers work they also
wanted that power to be able to become a powerful organization. These special
warriors have a lot of weapons also EMP grenades that stun you if you are hit by it
the most weapons you might see them use are swords or a Crossbow with
electricity flowing through the arrows at a high frequency. You will mostly see
them with black night like armor but with more dense armor plating and the helmet
is like a police S.W.A.T helmet.
Level 10 Special NFA Ops: The NFAs backup sniper warriors they are the combat
elite they have been trained for things like this as their bullets are made especially
for going through armor followed by having cameo armor for protection the only
way to beat them is to use heat sensor Nanos to detect them and you can only
sense these snipers temporary for about 2mins. Level 5 Regular soldiers: These
come out 30 at a time you must defeat the level 20 Warriors to stop them from
calling out more and more soldiers to come out and attack you constantly. They
may look like normal soldiers but they are enhanced soldiers maid for any type of
combat these soldiers wear police like armor with glass shields and EMP rile guns.

TYPE OF ARMOR CHANGING:

Normal Full Armor/Steal Form:
This is the first armor form Ethan gets after his father activates the Nano-bot's a
normal protection coating that can blend in with the darkest of corners in
alleyways and behind objects at night. After a while through the game after
gaining your first encounter with a Nano-Corrupted you will gain a new weapon
which is your arm blade. Also later in the game you will have to sneak around
sometimes so you have to sneak around without getting noticed by anyone if you
do then they will summon all the soldiers they have to circle you and capture you
and you have to take time to get out.
Sword Armor Form
The second early form: Ethan gets to use after being found by all of the NFA
agents and surrounded in the big courtyard of the place and absorbing the metal
trashcans. After you take in your first 5 groups of Nanos your Katana sword will
appear from all the Nanos you have collected this form will give you a good
amount of strength with your sword but dont use it too much or you break your
katana and you then have to go look for some metal to fix it.

Level Descriptions
Level Examples:
This is a level Example of Fortunia: Very futuristic like everything helps robots,
humans and androids alike with everything in the city there is always something
new around every turn.

Level Example for Corrupts Underground city: A destroyed overly plant grown
city that is slowly absorbing everyone and everything in sight thus leaving humans
in this frozen state ( example picture: One Piece Anime )

Something like this except there will be several broken buildings, partly destroyed
dead corps; with certain parts of the makeshift areas of the city will be glowing
either red or yellow.
Final Level Example

The buildings are falling apart, while slowly its corrupting everywhere while
everything is getting erased out of existence and you have a time limit to beat the
final boss before your way to escape disappears.
