Ps alm 92 :1

Dear Family and Friends,

"Thanksgiving" is always a special time to remember, recite, and celebrate the Lords blessings in our lives. We
all have much to be thankful for, including many "little" things that we take for granted everyday that aren't so
little when you don't have them.
I say this as I'm writing this letter from my room on Sunday afternoon in Ogun State, Nigeria where we have no
electricity today since 6:00 this morning, not even a fan to help with the 95 degree heat, no running water, no
internet, etc. But God has been so faithful and gracious to help us get the first Mobile Unit completed and working
well (see photos below). We will use it tonight, tomorrow night, and Tuesday night. Wednesday I plan to travel to
our other partner in Oyo State and begin work on the second MU. Thank you for your prayers for the trip, the Lord
is answering.
The news here continues to report that Nigeria is Ebola free and maintaining strict practices to keep it that way.
Upon entering the country I had to fill out a new health report, present my vaccination card, and have my
temperature taken. I will leave for home on Nov. 10.
The weekend of the 14-15th we will conduct our fall Board meeting. We look forward to having the Board
members and their wives come to serve and fellowship with us in our home. We also have another mobile
meeting and a speaking engagement scheduled this month. No progress on the Prattville property yet.

Family by AnnaMae: We enjoyed celebrating Josephs 16 birthday with a family bonfire, hayride and Auburn
th

football (see photo of our youngest with our oldest!). Stephen, Samuel and Joseph all pitched in to make it happen
with Mike being gone. They have learned well. Wes had a birthday on the 5,th which was also David & Crickets
anniversary. We hope to have everyone home for Thanksgiving, but that gets harder as the family continues to
grow. Joshua and Krystal are hoping to move to Prattville soon into Mikes folks old home place. We are praying
that everything falls into place for them to purchase it. My trip to visit my family was wonderful. I ended up on
crutches for a few days, but nothing serious. My mom is doing well, but it is very hard to be so far apart.
We thank the Lord daily for each of you, for your love and support for us and the ministry, and ask His care and
blessings for you as well. We are ever grateful for your partnership.

In His service together,
Mike & AnnaMae
& family
