About the Presenters


Kim Koster is the Director of Integrated Program Management (IPM) at Deltek, a
leading provider of program controls and earned value management software for
project focused businesses. Kim has 21 years experience in program management
specializing in earned value. She spent those years working for Raytheon and ATK.
Kim held management positions such as Product Line Business Manager, Javelin JV
Controller, EVMS Focal Point, and Business Systems Director. She has been a trainer
in her organizations and has provided guidance to many project and executive teams.
Kim is the co-author of three publications, EVM for DummiesTM, GovCon for
DummiesTM,, and IPM for DummiesTM. She holds a BBA from the University of North
Texas.

About the Presenters


Mark Greenfield is the Program Operations
Manager at Dynetics, Inc. He has worked in
program operations, project management and as a
business analyst. Marks primary experience is in
developing project schedules and plans, estimating
costs, and tracking both project costs and
schedules. Mark also has deep experience with
Earned Value Management and supporting
Department of Defense (DoD) contracts and
programs.
Before Dynetics, Mark worked for Northrop
Grumman, Boeing, Money Tree Software and HP.
Mark is a certified Project Management
Professional (PMP), and a member of both the
Society of Cost Estimating and Analysis (SEAC)
and the Association for the Advancement of Cost
Engineering (AACE). When Mark isn't out leading
programs and projects, he likes to spend time with
his wife and two children. Mark is an Eagle Scout
and serves as Chartered Organization
Representative for Boy Scout Troop 676 in
Huntsville, Alabama.

What Exactly is IPM


IPM is the planning and execution of project so that cost, schedule, technical
performance, suppliers, quality, risk and resources are integrated in a closed loop
fashion.

IPM utilizes multiple tool sets to provide tracking and predictive information on the
status of a program or project. Intended to provide insight to make daily
decisions.
IPM is simultaneous and coordinated application of PM tools, methods, and
processes to improve project execution, control, and governance..
