opened its18th location in St.
Petersburg on the central
Nevsky Prospect.
Saint Petersburg is well known as Russias
second most developed city and the cultural
capital of the country. Unrivaled in its
historical and architectural beauty, the unique
building that houses this store dates back to
1802. French doors in the tall arched windows
open the shop right into the traffic of
passersby. It also boasts comfortable leather
chairs, a see-through bread rack that connects
two sitting areas, and a sliding-door pantry.
The breads and pastries are baked fresh on the
spot and the kitchen prides itself on a large
repertiore, including grilled salmon a la carte
and freshly made hummus.
The shop shows biggest success in the summer
time when tourist flow is highest, and attracts
some of the most international and diverse
clientele weve seen in Russian shops so far.
