Festivals to consider for the next summer in Europe

So, i thought about making this post because there are is a variety of punk fest
ivals going on every summer and each one of them comes . The dates when they are
gonna happen may change, but they should be around that period or month, blah.
If anyone finds out about a new one or would like to add more details about one
i mentioned feel free to do so.

Probably my favourite festivals in term of NO FUCKING SECURITY; your 'secret', p
ersonal bands you would never see playing together, (especially open air) at the
same place; diy organizing ; people i've met, awesome times i've had.
If you were to describe a genre thematic of this festival it would be difficult.
I like to think of it as a collective of many hot shit bands you really need to
see + many bands that will make you kick yourself in the face for not knowing t
hem before, to be able to singalong the lyrics and not shake your head in the ba
ck thinking about how much you wanna get into them after the festival ends.
Genres include : hardcore punk/emo/youthcrew/post-hardcore/screamo/sludge/post m
etal etc.

Have Heart, Dangers, Code Orange Kids, Good Clean Fun, Verse, Touche Amore, La D
ispute, Pianos Become The Teeth, Bane, Weekend Nachos, even D.O.A. which was so
out of touch with the fest but it was fun as fuck to see the straight edge kids
stagediving and singing "I looove marijuana" + so many more other bands
Ticket Price: 30 euros BUT you can also send them an e-mail to volunteer (they w
on't say no) and you get yourself free entry, around 150 euros, 2 food cupons pe
r day(all food is vegan and hang out with all the people involved in the making
of the festival. Probably i should mention that volunteering implies building up
the stages before the fest starts( which is not hard at all) and throwing the b
ins out 2 times a day. You won't miss any band you wanna see.

2. Punk Rock Holiday(4,5,6,7 august + pre party) Tolmin,Slovenia

It is exactly that. punk-rock and holiday. The Best location possible for a fest
ival: with a crystal-blue clear river, surrounded by mountains, near a really ne
at town. Huge lineup every year. H2o, Sick of It all, NOFX, Anti-Flag,Leftover C
rack and the rest of your 16 year old dream or gap that you need to fill.
genres: punk rock/ hardcore and close(not to distant such as Fluff fest) varitat
ions.
Plain Fun,Potential Threat for people who sometimes have too much fun, Crazy peo
ple, "Stagediving approved", no chance to miss a a band...as there are 2 stages
( one on the beach during the day) and the main one after 6 PM but a bit annoyin
g security when you want to bring booze inside, kinda high prices there (but yea
h i say that compared to Romania).
Price: around 100 euros ( but keep in mind it is a 4-day, and the lineup is impr

essive). and of course... you can volunteer and trust me on this one, if you don
't wanna pay the ticket price do it. You'll loose max 2 hours in the morning and
2 hours after midday and then you're free + you get one food cupon and food the
re is really good.

A lot of ska and reggae, decent amount of hardcore, psychobilly and punk and som
e Alternative; Emo and other stuff.
Think about how an open-air generic general festival looks like and instead of g
eneral limit it to catchy-er punk deviations.
Has a bit of a mainstream twist, there is a little too much sponsorship, kinda n
o stagediving, a lot of security. But if this is something you think cool kids w
ho wanna look special say, then don't give a fuck ( cause it really isn't that m
uch of an impediment) and give it a try.
Irie Revoltes, 7 Seconds, Madball, G.B.H, Mad Sin, one of the Marley brothers( i
don't even care about searching that guy's name), The Subways, Dropkick Murphys
, Suicidal Tendencies -- and if you think about it , it's a really impressive li
ne-up and kinda weird but interesting to experience them all in the same day eve
n.
There's a secret forest which leads to a river, beautiful nature and if you go f
urther, some lakes, so if you feel like not seeing anyone for a couple of hours,
you can take a detour from the fest.
Price: around 50-60 euros and again you can also volunteer and get paid around 1
60 euros, with not so much job to do, they put guys as helping hands to carry sh
it and girls to clean some tables, or arrange merch tents and so on ( and this o
ne is 3 days before the fest starts or even more to take extra cash).
There's many more other festivals, but i don't feel like continuing and i 've be
en tot hose ones at least 2 times so what i describe can be witha better perspec
tive on things. Many thanks for taking time to read, i realized i've spent one h

ver, and i don't know if people can add up other fests on the same post.
