Dear Parents,

Social Studies – Health & Fitness End of Chapter 2 & 3 (combined) Test –
Wednesday 6th January 2010

As the content of the second chapter from the Health & Fitness book was brief
I opted to combine the information from that chapter with that of the third
chapter.

This Wednesday the class will be tested on their understanding of the topics
presented in these two chapters. Please help your son to prepare for this by
checking his understanding of the following topics.

For this subject the textbook, rather than the activity book, contains the key
information to be revised. To revise, I suggest that you check your child
understands orally the meaning of the words that you find highlighted in
yellow in the colour textbook and that he can orally answer the questions that
you find in the “review” box at the end of each lesson. In addition you can find
keywords from each chapter defined in short sentences in the glossary in pages
253-260 which may also help.
