Description
All dampers are designed so that they also can be built into
insulated duct systems.

DRU is a inregulary damper. The damper cup has marks

showing the position of the damper blade between 0 and 90C.
The damper blade can also be locked in position with screws,
and is prepared for reinsulation up to 50 mm.
DSU is a stop damper for use where complete closure of the air
flow is not required. The damper cup has marks which show the
position of the damper blade from 0-90. The damper blade can
also be locked in position with screws, and is prepared for
reinsulation up to 50 mm.
DTU is a closing damper for use where complete closure of the
air flow is required. The damper blade is a double plate
equipped with a sealing ring made of non-ageing EPDM rubber
which makes an airtight seal against the side. The damper cup
has marks which show the position of the damper blade from
0-90. The damper blade can be locked in position with screws,
and is prepared for reinsulation up to 50 mm.

Description
The iris damper type IBU is designed for regulation and measurement of the volume flow in ventilation systems. The special
iris design provides accurate regulation, smooth flow and low
noise level.
IBU as a volume flow

measuring device
The iris damper enables the user to measure the volume flow
quickly and accurately. The accurate control mechanism guarantees precise opening of the damper in relation to the scale.
The damper is equipped with two outputs (to be connected to
a manometer) for measuring the differential pressure, which
can be directly converted to volume flow by means of the diagrams.

The iris damper is a permanent measuring station and the

control measurements can be taken very quickly at all times.
Each damper is calibrated individually, giving accurate measuring results, with the method error being 7%.
IBU as a regulation damper

The round, adjustable aperture in the iris damper allows regulation of the volume flow with a smooth flow profile and a
relatively low noise level. Regulation is easy and fast, and the
effect of the regulation is immediate.
Design and materials

IBU is designed in galvanised steel and equipped with a scale
and measurement output. The connections are fitted with
LindabSafe sealing strips.
