THERE ARE SOME JUDGEMENTS JESUS PRONOUNCES, AND ASKS US TO WALK ACCORDING
TO THE GOSPEL IN ORDER TO AVOID SUCH
JUDGEMENTS. WE THEREFORE BECOME CLEAR
ON WHAT DISPLEASES GOD, AND CAN ADJUST
AND ALIGN OUR LIVES ACORDINGLY

THE JUDGEMENT SEAT (BEMA) OF CHRIST

One of the Doctrines of the
Church and the New Testament is the Doctrine of Rewards at a Judgment Seat.
This seat is called The Bema (original Greek word) in
the Bible and translated as
the Judgment seat.
This Bema was a platform
on which a judge sat, and
judged the participants in
the Greek athletics

2 Corinthians 5 v 10:
For all of us must appear
before the judgment seat
of Christ, so that each
may receive recompense
(reward) for what has
been done in the body,
whether good or evil.

This judging was specifically to judge the athletes in

their performances as to
reward them according how
they fared in the events.
Some did GOOD and some
did BADLY.

This is referred to by Jesus

and His Apostles on numerous occasions in Matthew 5
v 11 & 6 v 1 4, 1 Corinthians 3 v 14, Hebrews 11 v 6
and Revelations 3 v 11 and
22 v 7
The rewarding is also spoken of in the Old Testament
in Proverbs 25 v 22

JESUS IS THE SAVIOUR BUT JUDGEMENT IS

FINALLY GIVEN TO HIM
Believers will also share,
rule and reign with Him.
They will sit on the Throne
with Him, but will not
share parity or equality of
status with the Father and
the Son
(Revelations 3 v 21)

The Son alone sits on the

Fathers Throne (Gods
