Radio Link Prompt alarm

For this alarm at fist check the Sub Link No. in alarm location information.
There is 4 different type of Sublink Number:
Sublink Number0: Abnormal channel activation alarm
Sublink Number1: Abnormal channel release alarm
Sublink Number2: No traffic alarm
Sublink Number3: Power level imbalance between uplink and downlink alarm

Example; Sublink 0:

If the channel types or states between the BSC and BTS are not consistent, the BTS
might respond with a channel activation failure or not respond at all. This will bring
about a call failure and directly affect the traffic statistic specifications.
Handling:
Check whether the channel configuration and the current channel status on the BSC
side are consistent with those on the BTS side.
Check the channel configuration on the BSC side
1) Right-click on the target site in the navigation tree, and then chooses "Query BTS
Attributes" from the shortcut menu. Select "Channel" in "Object Type" on the right.
2) Select the target channel in the Objects Selection dialog box. Click "Query" to view
the channel configuration.

Check the channel configuration on the BTS side.

1) Log in to the SMT.
2) In the Site Maintenance Terminal System window, select "Channel" in the left pane
and then double-click "Channel Attributes Management" in the right pane.
3) The SMT obtains the latest data from the BTS. You can perform the refresh
operation to confirm the data accuracy

Example; Sublink1:

When the uplink or downlink is faulty, there is no correct interaction on the radio
interfaces. When a channel is activated, there will be no normal communication on the
channel on the Um interface. Finally the BSC will release the channel
Check the traffic measurement counters for interference.
Check whether the difference between Immediate Assignment Requests" and "
Immediate Assignment Successes" is greater than 400.

2: No traffic alarm:

May this site is a new site without subscribers. In this case, the alarm handling is not
necessary otherwise Check the connections between the jumper and the duplexer, between the
jumper and the feeder, between the jumper and the surge protection unit, and between the
jumper and the antenna and find
3: Power level imbalance between uplink and downlink alarm

For example T4461 had radio link prompt alarm on board Number 20, 21. If you can
check alarm location information; it is sub link No. of 3.

As below graph there is unbalance problem in uplink direction in both mentioned

TRXs.
