Procedure
Warm up
greet students
Lead-in to the topic of the lesson.
Get students think about their past experiences through asking questions about their habits
such as: what sport did you play when you were children? What did you like when you were
children? What did not you like when you were at primary school? Which school subjects did
you like most in primary school? What type of TV programs did you watch?
The teacher asks volunteers to remember events and activities in their childhood and writes
down sentences on the blackboard as well as the names of the students who provided the
sentences to refer to later
Presentation
Ahmed: when I was a child, I lived in Casablanca.

Students read the text and answer the focus questions.
