homemade dressing
is pretty great too.

Thanksgiving is
a relaxing holiday
because you get
together with your
family and chow
down. Even though
we [my husband and
I] have large families
and have anywhere
from 5-7 Thanksgiving
celebrations to go to
each year, its nice not
to have the pressure of
buying gifts. You can
just enjoy one anothers
company.

Mass media
staff incorporates video
Rock Port High School mass
media students traveled to a
Walsworth Yearbooks workshop in Tarkio in October,
where, among other skills, they
learned how to link images to
videos using the Aurasma app.
To learn how to use the app,
visit http://www.rockport.k12.
mo.us/rock-port-r-2-aurasmatriggers.
The app allows a person to
hold the camera of his or her
smart device (phone, iPad,
etc) over an image and the device will play a video that has
been linked to the image on the
Aurasma website. There are
sample trigger images at the
above-mentioned website. As
the school year progresses, the
mass media students plan to upload more images and videos.
If you have images or videos
that would be appropriate, the
staff would love to use them!
You can upload still images using the Yearbook Snap app.
To submit videos, contact Amy
Skillen at askillen@rockport.
